Epic Games has confirmed the release date and time for the Fortnite Final Crisis Cinematic Story for Chapter 6 Season 2.
Epic is releasing teasers ahead of Battle Royale Season 6, much like they do a few days before the start of the new season. Yesterday we had a reality log from Agent Jonesy saying that he would take the files he needed on the Seven.
The latest teaser shows Agent Jonesy wrapping his tie around his head in preparation for the solo mission he will be taking on. Players will be able to play through the mission, but there is also a cinematic story trailer for the Final Crisis event.
Here's what we know about the Fortnite season 6 cinematic trailer so far.
As you already know, the new season starts tomorrow. The downtime for the upgrade will most likely start at 4 AM ET. It is at this time that the cinematic story will premiere on YouTube.
As you can see from the event details and trailer teaser, we can obviously expect Agent Jonesy to be heavily involved in the story-driven cinematic trailer. There's also a chance we can finally get more information about the Seven with the first character, the Visitor, who was introduced way back in Season 1 Chapter 4.
Epic stated in their Final Crisis event blog that this is their most ambitious story to date. Eager players quickly checked out just how long the Season 16 cinematic trailer will be, and it looks like it will be 3 minutes and 14 seconds long, which is the longest cinematic trailer we've had in Fortnite.
Epic has yet to confirm the time and date for the Fortnite v16.00 update, but we will let you know as soon as there is any information.
