Season 2 Chapter 2 Fortnite Delayed Even Further?
Bad news! Another Fortnite Leak Points to Yet Another Delay Before Chapter 2 Season 2 Begins.
Epic Games may be on the verge of announcing yet another renewal for the current Fortnite Chapter 2 season after an insider revealed that the start date for season XNUMX has been pushed back even further.
Fans of the popular battle royale game have had to wait longer than ever in its short history before the start of the new season, and it looks like the developers are asking for even more patience before launching their next major update.
Chapter 2019 of Fortnite began back in October XNUMX, and since then we've seen everything from the Star Wars crossover to the Winterfest event. There have been no signs of any drastic changes anytime soon - despite demand from the community.
In November, it was announced that the debut season would be its biggest to date, with Epic confirming that early February was supposed to be the launch window for season two. Now, a reputable dataminer claims that the gate frames have been moved again.
HYPEX , analyst data that often leaks future Fortnite events ahead of their official disclosure , claims that the original start date for the next season was set for February 6, but has been pushed back to February 20.
Hypex confirmed this in a tweet on January 23rd, although the reasons for this change in content schedule are largely unknown at this point.

Anyone with a finger on the pulse of the Fortnite Battle Royale online community knows that rising expectations for significant gameplay changes will rise, but if this leak turns out to be accurate, the wait will be even longer than some thought.
Tyler 'Ninja' Blevins, Turner 'Tfue' Tenney and many other high-profile streamers have called for everything in the game to be revisited throughout Season 1, with the first called for the return of the infantry rifle, to balance things out for PC players.
Whether or not Chapter 2 Season 20 of Fortnite will actually launch on February XNUMXth remains to be seen, but once we get confirmation from the developers, we'll be the first to let you know.
