5 Best Places To Land In Fortnite Chapter 2

The new Fortnite Chapter 2 map features a ton of new locations to explore, but where should you be aiming for when you get off the bus? We've selected five of the best landing spots - head to these areas to capture loot and increase your chances of winning the battle.

5. Pleasant Park

The well-known suburban landscape of Pleasant Park is back, and it's just as viable a landing spot as it was in Chapter 1.

The park has a variety of houses and buildings that are made from all different types of materials, giving players many opportunities to get a lot of the early materials they need to play successfully.

Loot chests are scattered throughout the park, in basements and attics of houses, under stairs and throughout the area. For squads, there is also a respawn van in the center of the park in case you need to bring back a fallen comrade.

4. Fatal Farm

Like the Killing Fields of Chapter 1, Fatal Farm is just as productive and rewarding for players as its spiritual predecessor.

Fatal Farm provides a variety of wood and metal materials from all farm structures and equipment, as well as many loot chests and caches. Numerous haystacks act as literal Assassin's Creed-style hideouts you can dive into, and fields provide great camouflage. But be careful, there are instant death spots near the area, which some streamers talk about (getting into such a place you will be overtaken by death).

3. Carefree Shore

The Careless Shore and the area around the beach area in the northwest corner of the map boasts many chests with loot and materials. Wood, stone, and metal are found in abundance throughout the area, as are loot chests, and that's just above ground!

Yes, there are additional buried loot chests scattered under the boardwalk and along the beaches - you have to use your eyes to spot them because they don't emit the typical loot sound. This was first discovered by a reddit user FortyNineMilkshakes..

With all of this, a trip to the beach should be a priority for players jumping off the bus.

2 Giant Cooling Towers

Despite its location in the very northeast corner of the Chapter 2 map, the new power plant known as Giant Cooling Towers is a terrific starting point for players.

Land here and you'll have access to plenty of metal and loot chests, a weapon upgrade station (workbench), and most importantly, access to two different modes of easy-to-use vehicles.

Work your way into the base of either of the two pipes and you'll find a lot of pink goo that gives off a lot of steam. Just jump over the slime and let the steam carry you right out of the tower, allowing you to fly. There are also power lines that players can use as a zipline, taking you south.

1. Nectar Lowland

Surrounded by swamps, the Nectar Basin is a great place to get early loot. The best part? You don't even have to drink any of the defensive potions you choose to get full shields.

The swamp and the plant have a lot of nectar lying around, with convenient and profitable ways to access it. There are nectar vats in and around the factory that you can open, and each one gives you 10 shields and some metal materials.

By standing in glowing pools in the swamp, you can increase your shields and health without using items. With all of this and the number of loot chests in close proximity, this makes the ruined factory and polluted swamp a very valuable drop zone.

What's great about all five of these places is that they're all on the waterfront. All five of the locations we mentioned are right next to one of the many rivers that flow into the center of the map, so if you're a fan of the new boating or fishing mechanics, these locations will also serve your interests.
