Ace Combat 7 Includes 3 VR Missions

PSVR game

It was previously reported that the flight simulator Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will have 5 VR missions but today on the official website Bandai Namco came up with conflicting information, which in an affirmative tone indicates the presence of three levels, and this is final. The developer has just updated the game's official website with more information on the VR mode.

So what is VR mode? According to them, this is exclusive VR content only for the Playstation VR platform, and it is different from the campaign mode and online mode. Playing with a Playstaton headset, you can enjoy expansive cockpit views and view the latest aircraft models.

In VR mode, you can go through the whole pilot journey, from getting into the cockpit and turning on the dashboard and starting the engines, to preparing to exit the cockpit and go to the locker room. When the mode is launched, you will experience the interface and sense of depth in VR before starting the mission.

Bandai Namco has developed a hangar specifically for virtual reality, which allows you to view the fighter from different angles.

The VR mode will only support 4 aircraft, and 3 of them have been found on the website:

F/A-18F Super Hornet
F-22A Raptor
Su-30M2 Flanker-F2
All of these aircraft and cockpit have been rebuilt for optimal viewing in VR. As in the case of the campaign, 3 types of special weapons are available for each aircraft.

There will be four types of game difficulty: easy, normal, hard and ass. They will be graded as C, B, A and S.

The first VR mission will begin with an airplane taking off and engaging in a dogfight with enemies over Fort Grace. The battle will start at a low altitude, which will move to a high one.

In the second mission, you will provide assistance to the allied base. The mission will begin in the midst of an air defense fight and you will control your aircraft from the moment it accelerates down the runway, watching destruction everywhere, including the destruction of an ally's ship right in front of your nose. Once your plane is in the air, you will be tasked with maintaining the base.

The third mission is a secret and no details have been provided.about.

The cockpit is thought out to the smallest detail. The multifunctional display displays information about the radar and weapons. When the plane takes damage, the warning light comes on, and when you get hit, the dash lights up and smokes.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown launches January 17, 2019 (or January 18, 2019, depending on your region) on PS4 and XBox One, and then on Steam 1 February 2019 year.
