Act 2 Chapter 2 - Towards the Unknown | Gears 5 Walkthrough

Kit and Del travel to the mountains of North Tyrus in search of a hidden research facility. The heroes are on the glacier. The glacier is quite a large place that hides many additional secrets.

After a short ride, you will reach the bottom. You can't go through the gate - at least not from this side. Go left - the path leads between the rocks.

Turn right near the tree and keep walking until you reach a room with a control panel. Jack will open the door for you.

It's time to open the gate. Go to the panel and order Jack to open the passage to the rest of the snowy locations. Get back in transport and go further.

Stay on the right side. When you pass the big gate (which you can't open yet), keep moving along the rocks. The first component is next to the parts shown in the picture above.

On another pile of rubble you will find one of the collectibles -islander's lost earring.

One of the components is next to the red houses on pillars (you can easily spot them from afar). Go towards the wreckage of the railroad cars. The path leads to the right side of the houses.

Additional mission - railway tunnel

When you get to the wreckage of the train cars, follow the path on the left, over the rocks - you will reach a dark tunnel. This will activate an additional mission - the railway tunnel.

Be careful, a very tough enemy is hiding behind the next car. Get ready for a fight.

Try to keep the enemy at a distance. Use explosives to deal more damage - like grenades, explosive shots.

The creature guards access to the machine. Inside you will find a collector-Drilling Elevator Inspection Notes and one component. Optional mission completed - Exit the tunnel (go ahead and climb onto the train car next to the exit) and return to your vehicle.

We drive up to the wreckage of the railway car near the tunnel. Inside you will find another collectible faded photo.

Head to the place presented in the picture above - next to the abandoned train station, on the way to the New Hope Research Center. Drive up to the checkpoint, jump over the trunk and climb up - you are in the rogue camp. This will activate an additional mission.

Additional Mission - Lost Outcasts

In the camp you will find a collectible -Lina's diary and one component. Leave the camp and go further to the New Hope Research Center.
