Act 2 Chapter 3 - The Forest for the Trees | Gears 5 Walkthrough

Looking for clues about their relationship with Roy, Kate and Del enter Hope's new research facility. The research center is not safe - you will encounter a lot of enemies. You will also have to deal with additional obstacles and traps.

Once you reach the gate leading to the New Hope Research Facility, enter through the small opening in the large gate.

You can restock here. A small camp with weapons and ammunition is on the right. Go straight - you won't get lost.

In addition to harsh weather conditions, you will also have to face the enemy with a machine gun guarding the entrance to the research facility.

The enemy can be killed from a safe distance, or you can go around his position and attack from behind - the creature has trouble walking. Enter the New Hope Research Center through the main gate.

On the table by the large door is a collection item -intercepted letter.

The door on the left leads to the toilet - there are a lot of cartridges. Go through the door on the right, and move along the narrow corridors between the walls. You will reach the next part of the location. Go down the road.

You will have to face the crystal guardian. His skin is completely immune to attacks, so you need to finish him off differently. In the first phase of the fight, shoot the monster's helmet to knock it down. You can damage it - keep shooting at the monster's head until it dies. Despite its size, the monster is very agile and is able to attack or jump towards a target in a fraction of a second - attacking the target with two maces.

As soon as you open the door to the building on the right, you will be attacked by clever and dangerous enemies approaching you from all sides. Pay special attention to the monsters that will attack from behind you.

Get down the stairs. Ask Jack to open the safe - take the component. Exit the building and go outside.

To continue your mission, you must pass through this gate. However, before you do this, make sure you have some ammo nearby. Once you pass through the gate, you cannot return.

Your faithful companion, Jack, must help you again. Use a protective shield to safely pass through the cloud of toxic gas.

You will face an army of sleeping robots. Remember how you dealt with them at the hotel? You must repeat this. If you want to eliminate them discreetly - approach them from behind and remove the battery.

The exit from this sector is in front of you. Be sure to use a protective screen before entering the corridor.

The two sleeping robots shown in the picture above are not the only threat waiting for you. Before moving forward, make sure each weapon is loaded.

You will run into Roy again. You don't have much room to move here, so try to shoot for as long as you can. When Roy attacks, dodge.

Resupply your ammo and then exit the door visible in the picture above.

Niels laboratory

You find yourself in the underground part of the location - it acts as a prison and a laboratory. In the center of the room lies a collectible -patient analysis AX-331-2.

The kit is in one of the rooms. Access to it is protected by a cloud of poisonous gas. Use the shield, take the component and exit the room.

Tell Jack to open the door to the little operating room. Inside you will find a component and a collectible -Ruler's Directive No. 10345.

The further path leads through the monstrous "children's" room. Jump over the window at the back of this location.

Another collectible is on the table-patient analysis: PK-184-9. Move forward. Go up the stairs - you are in the laboratory. Keep moving forward until you reach a ladder leading down. You will not face any threat. Get down to the lower level.

On the table to the right is a collectible-outdated media.

The goal of your mission is really close. Go to the console and activate Niels' artificial intelligence.

Watch out, you're about to run. Use a protective shield to avoid damage from poisonous gas. Run forward and head towards the stairs.

The exit is at the top. Don't forget to use a screen protector. You are outside - shoot multiple enemies. Keeps moving forward.

The descent leads down. However, before using it, try to eliminate the opponents waiting below.

Activate the shield and run along the corridor on the right to complete the third act of the second chapter Gears 5.
