Genshin Impact leaks have revealed information about the game's upcoming characters, including the mysterious Al-Haytham. These leaks detail his abilities and unique set, as well as revealing his possible release date.

Al Haytham Leaks Reveal His Release Date And Skills In Genshin Impact
Leaks Genshin impact revealed new information about the mysterious Al-Haytham, including fresh details about his skills. Players only got a brief glimpse of Al-Haytham's strength when they explored Sumeru, and according to these leaks, it seems like he can wield a lot of dendro tokens in combat. Leaks have already revealed that Al-Haytham is a 5-star sword wielder and the release date isn't too far off.
According to the latest leaks, Al-Haytham will be released during the Genshin Impact 3.4 update. This update is expected to arrive around January 11th, meaning that if Al-Haytham is on the first update banner, fans can expect its release to drop on the same day as the update. It will also arrive along with the highly anticipated 4-star dendro character Yao Yao, which means players have a lot to look forward to in this update.
According to new leaks, Al-Haytham's Elemental Skill is the ability that has most of the information revealed about it. Once activated, Al-Haytham will drop an Abandoned Lotus onto the battlefield, and players can either press or hold the button to change how far the lotus will be launched.
After launching the Abandoned Lotus, Al-Haytham will enter a new state called the Abandoned Lotus Mode. In this state, his Normal Attacks will mark enemies, but the effects of this are currently unknown. Reportedly, his weapon type also changes to "RuneWeapon" in the code, although it is currently unknown if this implies a unique weapon (such as Shogun Raiden) or just an elemental infusion.
Al-Haytham's elemental explosion has also been leaked to the net, and it appears to be unleashing some kind of Dendro mist on the battlefield. By activating his Elemental Blast, Al-Haytham will gain Damage buff, and this will probably also apply to his Abandoned Lotus Mode. The Lotus itself also seems to gain some extra durability, although whether this means the Lotus serves as a taunting summon (like Ushi Itto or Gan Yu's Ice Lotus) is currently unknown.
Based on these leaks, it seems like Al-Haytham will be a DPS character on the pitch, given that all of his skills seem to be of particular use to him. Al-Haytham could be the first such dendro DPS character, which would definitely be an interesting play style considering dendro mainly focuses on team reactions.
