Alan Wake Remastered - PlayStation Showcase Announcement Video

Check out the first footage of the Alan Wake Remaster shown at the PlayStation Showcase today!.

In this new video we will see Bright Falls and the landscapes surrounding it. Alan goes on a solo mission with a gun and flashlight in hand to save his wife Alice. This remaster significantly changed the look and feel of the 11 year old game. The resolution obviously improves, as do the textures. But, most importantly for the Alan Wake experience, it seems like the lighting has been tweaked a lot.

First released in 2010 on the Xbox 360, Remedy's Alan Wake follows the supernatural journey of a thriller writer in the fictional Bright Falls. Inspired by twisted tales like Twin Peaks, Alan Wake takes players on a mind-bending journey filled with action and puzzles.

Remedy's Alan Wake Remastered releases October 5th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
