While there is no combat in these games, running and hiding is all you can do, but it fuels fear a thousandfold! How to get a radio

This is the first major puzzle in the game on how to get to the radio, as it's the first thing you'll hear upon entering. And what's even better, you have to solve this problem while being chased by a deadly ghoul! For those who like to cause destruction in order to overcome their fear, then, the process of completing this task will be to your liking - mainly because you need to fix the elevator, and then smash the wall with a cannon!

How to fix an elevator

Inside the barracks, you will no doubt get lost in the maze of corridors, and of course you can see the radio, but unfortunately you can't get to it that easily. To get to it, you need to solve two puzzles - fix the lift and the pulley. It might help if you imagine the barracks as a square, with the lift target in the bottom left corner and the pulley in the top right corner.

First, from the entrance to these dark halls, go straight ahead and continue to a small open space. Here you will find a grenade launcher at the stairs leading to a dead end. Take the pulley from the back of this weapon.

Then, once you've acquired the pulley, drop it down towards the elevator that's in the lower left corner of this area. When you find it, open your inventory and place the pulley in the open lift slot, then manually close it to secure it in place. That's not all you need to do, as you need to find a long wooden plank, it can be found to the right of the elevator in an alcove. Pick up the board and place it so that you can stand on it while the elevator goes up.

Stand on the board, use the crank, rotate the mouse or use the D-pad, and stop at the highest floor you can.

How to break the floor

You are almost at the radio, and because you are so close, fear will begin to creep into the deepest corners of the soul. You will find a cannon on this floor and your goal is to push this cannon towards the weak area of ​​the floor above the radio room. However, in order to move the cannon, you need to find the two missing wheels.

The first wheel is in the main corridor next to the cannon. Look at him and you will see him. The second wheel is in the opposite direction of the weakened floor, so turn around and you'll quickly run into a door. Open this door and many corpses will be next to another canon. Next to this cannon in one of the corners is a second wheel.

Return to the cannon in the main corridor and attach each wheel to the empty spokes; once again, go to your inventory to do this. The stone holding the cannon will move and you will finally be able to push it. Kick her and eventually she'll smash through the floor into the radio room below! Follow it down and use the radio to get the next target!

Tip: The item needed for the next objective is in the room above the radio. In this room you will find a warehouse, enter it and on one of the wooden shelves you will find an item called Saltpeter. You can skip this, but you'll have to come back later.
