Amnesia: Rebirth - All Endings

Frictional Games has always made games with multiple endings as it increases the value of the replay, and since the game isn't too long it further enhances the replay factor. Also, a person can go through so much horror before their sanity falters, so it's probably good form to take a break between the endings! So how many endings does Amnesia: Rebirth have?

This guide will contain heavy spoilers for several Amnesia: Rebirth endings!

How many endings?

The ending can be decided in the last encounter of the game, and by doing certain actions, you will be able to find out which ending you will get. Each ending can be reached in the same playthrough, but this may reduce experience for some, but saves three separate playthroughs of the game; however, playing three times is really worth it. Once one ending has been seen, simply download a checkpoint, one of your latest, and follow the instructions on how to unlock another one!

Of the three endings, there is a Good Ending, a Neutral/Secret Ending, and a Bad Ending. We will explain how to get each.

Good ending

For the Good Ending to come, you must take the baby out of the crib and head towards the exit. Along the way, also take vitae, as it powers the doors. As soon as you return to the main area, the Empress will madden you and attack with an explosion.

From now on, you should be inconspicuous. You must move around without being seen; if so, you'll get another hit. Go to the door you entered this area through, use the vitae and place it in the portal, press the button and a cutscene will start. Congratulations!

Neutral / Secret ending

Oddly enough, this ending is the hardest to achieve.

Follow the good ending instructions: take the baby, get the vitae, go back to the main area and piss off the Empress again. It's different from here: in the main room, instead of going to the portal, head to one of the tunnels outside the room. Use the vitae on the lock next to the door and enter this new room.

Go into your inventory and fill the injector with the liquid you used at the Factory. The liquid you used to explode all the capsules, resulting in red flesh. Now inject this liquid into the controls.

Repeat this twice more in the other tunnels leading off from the main room. Once this is done, the Tower will sink into red flesh; The Empress will die, and soon you and the child. A cutscene will play in which everything will be consumed by this red flesh.
