If you want to get into a spooky area filled with nasty crawlers, let's see how to get to Tarantula Island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons! Why do you want to visit such a place? Well, these hairy spiders sell for a bunch of bells, so once you have a full inventory, you'll pay off your debts and be able to buy whatever you want for days ahead!
To get to the island, you need to fly! If you haven't flown to the mysterious island yet, your first flight will be free. However, you must purchase a Nook Miles ticket at the Nook Stop at Resident Services. Once you've got your ticket or are ready to go, be sure to clear your inventory of anything you might not need. You should at least take most of your tools. You can get rid of the watering can and most likely the slingshot. If for any reason you need a tool, you can craft it on the island or buy it from the pilot!
To get to Tarantula Island, you will need to fly on a certain day and at a certain time. The tarantula can only be found in the northern hemisphere from November to April, and in the southern hemisphere from May to October. You must be sure that you were there at night from 19:00 to 4:00. Unfortunately, you can accidentally get to the island by flight. You can't get there specifically, you just get lucky. You will recognize the island when you come across it because there is a moat with six sides in the center. This is where the spiders will appear.
How to Catch Spiders?
It's kind of a pain, but if you're desperate for bluebells, you can secure a Tarantula Spider spawn on the mysterious island. Go flying with a Nook Miles ticket (make sure it's after 7pm and Tarantulas are in season) and if it's not a specific Tarantula island, you can clear the island to find spiders! You need to go through and remove every tree, flower and stone on the island. Once you do that, you need to go to the beach and plant all the flowers. Remove all flower tops (beetles may appear on them) and drop all things from your inventory on the ground. The island is now ready for the spiders to spawn. Catch any tarantula you see! There seems to be a limit on the number of bugs on the island, so discard the ones you don't need. Tarantulas can appear when you run around the island. Continue this process until you have a bag full of spiders.

Catching a Tarantula is not easy! They will attack you if you are not careful, so you should be ready to catch them as soon as possible. However, if you get bitten, you will faint and wake up near the plane.
To catch them, you need to sneak up on the spiders very slowly. As you get closer, you will notice that they tense up and look like they are about to jump. You need to stop and wait for them to return to normal. Once they do, take another step closer and repeat. Wait until you're close enough to catch it and then throw a net over them!
If you want to be safe, you can dig holes in front of the spider to keep it from jumping on you.
