Apex Legends Season 3 Meltdown: New Legend, Weapons and more

Respawn Entertainment has finally announced Apex Legends Season 3, which will be called Meltdown, as well as its release date and a preview of new content.
The highly anticipated third season of Apex Legends is now a reality as Respawn released a flurry of new details on it on September 19th.
As with the previous two seasons, Meltdown will introduce a new legend, weapon, battle pass and more to the world of the popular Battle Royale title.
When does Apex Legends: Meltdown Season 3 start?
Respawn has confirmed that Season 3 will launch on October 1 (as previously planned), which will be accompanied by a massive update that will add all the new content and changes to the game.

What's new in Apex Legends: Meltdown Season 3?
The most important thing is the emergence of a new Crypto legend, which, thanks to dataminers, is not news to us.
While Krypto's three abilities have not been officially confirmed, Respawn offered a clue with this in-game description: "The cool, calm, collected hero deploys specialized surveillance drones to stay in the fight and out of the spotlight."

New weapons: Charge rifle
Season 3 will also expand on the arsenal of existing weapons, with the all-new Charge Rifle, which looks like an energy weapon that will fire an energy beam instead of shots.
"Blast your way through the arena with this devastating targeted energy weapon," reads the official description.
New Battle Pass
Meltdown will add a brand new Battle Pass for players to level up and earn new rewards. There will be "over 100 exclusive items" on offer, including legendary skins, packs, and new content types that will debut in Season 3.
New Ranking System: Ranked Series 2
Respawn decided to make some major changes to ranked play for Season 3, reworking some aspects from Season XNUMX, including things like scoring, RP entry costs, multipliers, rewards, and more.
