APEX LEGENDS: LONG SUPER SLIDING TECHNIQUE
We're looking at how to glide properly and cover the longest distance in your Apex Legends starts!
Our leadership Apex Legends about the correct sliding through the air will help you move the furthest on the map, flying around obstacles. It's not as obvious as it sounds, and if you want to cover more distance on the map in Apex, you need to know how to do it right! There are two different things that we will pay attention to. First, we will look at the correct technique for stretching the slide at the start of the game. This is important for reaching those far landing points that you might want to hit on a bad launch path. Secondly, there is a method to get the long-range flight capability when restarting from a balloon. This technique is sometimes referred to as the "super slide" technique and it's something you need to know to get the most out of these balls!
HOW TO FLY THE MAXIMUM DISTANCE AT LAUNCH
If you want to stretch the time and range of your flight when starting at the beginning of the game, you will have to use the step or wave method. To do this, you start straight down (looking down towards you) until you reach ~145, then level off and slide (looking forward towards you). Once you reach ~125, you swoop down again until you reach ~145 and repeat the process again until you reach your destination. If this is a little confusing, take a look at the image below:
This method should be used in almost any situation, even when you are moving to a fairly close location, because it maintains a higher speed than if you were just sliding at an angle. SUPER SLIDE TECHNIQUE WHEN RESTARTING FROM BALLS
While this technique may be a bug in the game, so we do not know if it will be available on a permanent basis! To do this, find the restart point (balloon) and turn in the desired direction. Start climbing the rope and look straight at the balloon. After starting, hold down the right mouse button, or the left trigger (console). Hold this button + direction of travel (forward) and when you start to slide, you will fly as after a normal start, but when you get close to an obstacle, the landing animation will turn on. Instead of lowering you to the ground, it will push you up so you can keep flying around the obstacle. Once you are in this animation, you can move left and right using the navigation keys.
