Apex Legends brings back Olympus in Season 12 with a map update
Olympus is back in Apex Legends remastered for Season 12 of Defiance, so here's everything you need to know.
As Apex Legends continues to evolve, players have experienced epic new maps such as Tropical Habitat and World's End. Olympus first appeared in Apex Legends back in Season 7 and was an instant hit with casual and hardcore players alike.
Now, after being away from the game since the start of Season 11, it's finally time to return to this incredible place.
Olympus returns with Season 12 of Apex Legends
In Apex Legends lore, Olympus is the home of Octane, Horizon, and Lifeline. Now, after the card has been removed for the entirety of Season 11, it will finally return in February with the launch of Season 12.
However, it looks like Olympus will be redesigned. Respawn Entertainment hasn't revealed all the secrets about the map yet, as a mysterious description on the official website teases us with cryptic changes: "A new view from Olympus. Something else in the floating city... but what?
Respawn hasn't offered any other specifics other than this exciting teaser, but it definitely looks like something sinister is looming over Mount Olympus. Can new enemy forces threaten hostile planetary takeover? Does the arrival of the hotly anticipated Legend, Mad Maggie, have any bearing on this?
Trouble definitely follows a new Legend in its wake, and this could be one of the most exciting lore developments so far.
Until the mystery comes true, you may be in the know all events of the 12th season ahead of its launch in February.
