Apple Allegedly Working on Its Own Console. Are there any Changes in the Game Market?

The network is massively spreading rumors about the creation of Apple's new console. It would be a direct competitor to the Nintendo Switch because the hardware would be hybrid.

Over the past two decades, the situation in the gaming market from the point of view of console manufacturers has not changed. Of course, there were projects by other companies that sought to reach a wide audience. Unfortunately, Ouya or the first Nvidia Shield showed that it can be hard to compete with the giants these days. However, as we found out, perhaps another corporation will try its hand at fighting Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo.

We are talking about Apple, which, of course, does not need to be introduced to anyone. On the Korean Forum information has been leaked that a hardware maker with an apple in the logo will be working on its own hybrid console. It is also worth noting that the above entry does not contain any information about the source of the leak.

What's more, Apple will be working with Ubisoft to design the console. A French publisher would certainly be a useful partner. The hardware itself will use an entirely new line of processor chips and will even support ray tracing. Such functionality can definitely pose a threat to the Nintendo Switch as it does not support this technology. However, it is possible that the Switch Pro will already have such support, and in We've been hearing about this more and more lately. .

However, I personally think that these rumors should be taken with a grain of salt. I think Apple definitely has what it takes to try its hand at the console market. On the other hand, any failure in one or another market segment can seriously worsen the company's image.
