Arkham Dominates the Northwest Region DreamHack Open Fortnite Finals
100 Thieves pro player Diego 'Arkham' Lima wins the DreamHack Open Fortnite tournament in the Northwest region.
This weekend, we saw Northwest Fortnite players complete their grand finals in the DreamHack Open tournament. WITH European and northeastern regions it's time for the West to shine in the record books. Dreamhack was one of the many tournaments that normally take place on LAN but didn't take place due to an apparent ban in most countries.
The Northwest bloc was dominated by a pro player Diego "Arkham" Lima out of 100 Thieves. The Fortnite star proved to be the best player in the region with 506 points earned in a single win, 3,5 eliminations per game and an average placement of 6,75.
When all was said and done, Arkham had 50 points more than Frapai, the NA-West runner-up. It was followed by "EmadGG - The Beast" in third place, followed by EpikWhale in fourth.
Several other North American Fortnite pros have left their 0-ping lobbies to compete on the West Coast. Bugha and Clix finished outside the top 50 at 56 and 57 respectively.
With this victory, Arkham is solidified at the pinnacle of the northwest region. The pro adds this achievement to a long list of victories that include first place in three World Championship Qualifiers, 5th place in the World Duo Championship, 3rd place in the FNCS Duos, and the first FNCS Solos. There are only a few NA-West players that stand out from the rest of the pack, and Arkham is definitely one of them.
