В Valhalla the skill and ability tree provides the same level of freedom, and gives you similar liberties. We are going to list every skill and ability available to unlock that we know of so far, from each branch of the tree. With Raven, Bear and Wolf, the player is offered several different ways to build their character.

Raven

Raven seems to lean towards stealth and ranged attacks. This is suitable for players who still want to be silent killers in the Viking Age.

The wolf seems to be trying to strike a balance between secret Viking and total war machine. He definitely has more neutral skills.

➤Emergency Aim - By holding LT/L2, you aim at the enemy when he detects you, which gives you the opportunity to kill him and go unnoticed.

➤Double exchange - When dual wielding, press A/X twice to swap weapons with your hands.

➤Fire Intensity Training - Increases the intensity of fire attacks, improving the damage fire deals to targets.
➤Heavy Dual Wield - You can dual wield heavy weapons. This will change the stats and handling of each weapon.
➤Resistance heavy attacks - Increases additional armor against all heavy attacks.
➤Training Critical Damage - Increases critical strike damage
➤Training stealth - increase your attack stealth (all ranged attacks, including ranged and melee attacks)
➤Ability training - increases the damage of all abilities
➤Attack range training - increase attack range
➤Parry Damage - A successful parry also deals damage to the attacker.
➤Fire Efficiency Training - Increase the efficiency of your fire by making it easier to set targets on fire.
Light Bow Combo - consecutive shots from a light bow deal additional damage
➤Resistance normal attacks - Increases bonus armor against all normal attacks.
➤Stomp - when an enemy hits the ground, press RS/R3 to stomp their face
➤Increased adrenaline - +1 adrenaline slot
➤Berserker's Mettle - Fight reckless energy. Taking damage no longer causes adrenaline to be lost.

Ranged abilities

Similar to Raven's skill tree, ranged abilities seem to be more focused on staying undetected and picking off enemies from a distance.

➤Poison Ranged Strike - Inflicts a poisonous mixture on the tip of your arrows, the poison spreads when the enemy hits
➤Mark of Death - hold RT/R2 then scroll the grid to mark selected enemies, release to unleash a deadly volley of arrows
➤Crow distraction - use your raven, Xining, to briefly distract your enemies
➤Thorn Sleep - An arrow marked with Svefnthorn's symbol puts targets to sleep almost instantly.

Melee abilities

Melee abilities are naturally the opposite of ranged abilities and cover a more aggressive aspect of combat, perhaps best paired with the Bear's skill tree.

Rush & Bash - hold RT/R2 to run continuously. In a hurry, make contact with any opponent to grab and pick them up. Throw enemies you've grappled off ledges, or to break through other enemies, or throw them off ledges, or slam them into walls for extra damage
Poison Strike - Applies a poison mixture to your right melee weapon. Poisoned enemies take additional damage over time
Tyr's Strike - A ferocious blow that knocks enemies back. Enemies that hit objects or other enemies will take additional damage.
