Atomic Heart played a joke on Hogwarts Legacy in a bold new trailer
Atomic Heart made a direct nod to Hogwarts Legacy, the biggest release of the year so far, by launching a trailer featuring The Boys star Jensen Ackles.
Atomic Heart is a highly anticipated release considering it's been almost 6 years since its original teaser trailer came out. Appearance of the game in style Bioshock attracted the interest of gamers and fueled it over the years, and its launch is nearing.
Trailer released at the beginning February 2023 year, gave people an extended, deep look at the gameplay, and seemed to be the last thing we saw before the launch of the shooter.
However, the live action trailer starring The Boys Jensen Ackles took a hit on the newly released Hogwarts legacy, abandoning magic in favor of crude iron and electrical discharges.
Atomic Heart trailer with reference to Hogwarts Legacy
Although the visual style, gameplay and tone Atomic Heart и Hogwarts legacy very different, they exist in the same genre: RPG with an open world. They both place you in a unique environment far from our own, in a vast world filled with things to do and places to go.
Hogwarts Legacy was a breakthrough success with sales figures that would make the game hard to reach in terms of revenue and viewership on platforms like Twitch. The game is incredibly popular.
With the release of Atomic Heart shortly after Hogwarts Legacy, the creators decided to release a trailer that satirizes the wizarding world.
The trailer shows a young sorceress who is upset that her magic is not working on a very unfortunate mannequin in front of her. She breaks her wand in desperation and throws it on the ground.
At this point, it appears Jensen Ackles, his gauntlet glowing brightly, and a brutal-looking club resting against his shoulder. He begins to wreak havoc in the room, destroying everything in sight and sending lightning bolts at a group of mannequins, successfully destroying them.
Developers Atomic Heart are clearly making fun of Hogwarts Legacy, but it remains to be seen if the final release can withstand the rush to launch one of 2023's biggest games.
