Offline Offline Mode: Here's What The Fortnite Community Wants
The Fortnite community has come together to request a new feature from Epic Games allowing them to play offline offline for practice.
The developers of Fortnite command respect primarily for listening to their audience and giving players what they want, despite facing criticism from time to time for certain features or changes.
This new concept of offline mode, posted on Reddit on December 30th, has received a lot of support from players, so Epic Games apparently won't let it pass by.
Concept created by a Reddit user vantex, is an offline mode that will allow players to get game practice. “Play solo matches against bots offline! Only this mode is available for offline playback. This will be a separate download to save space if you're not interested," Redditors said in a post.
It will essentially work outside of the main game and keep players from having to face real competition, and within 12 hours of posting the concept, it has already received almost 7000 upvotes and plenty of supporting comments.
You can see the appeal of this offline mode for many reasons. This would be great for beginners who are just trying to get used to the mechanics, explore the map and figure out which weapons are best for them.
It will also allow players to continue playing if their internet is experiencing problems, keeping players in the game and able to play for as long as they want.
Finally, it would also be great just as a warm-up technique - face-to-face with a group of bots to set up your piles of aim and stretch your fingers using edit. This is what is commonly used in other games such as Call of Duty and CS:GO shooters.
Epic Games reps are known to frequent the subreddit to get feedback or provide information to players on a range of issues, so it's highly likely that someone will see the concept.
However, it is not yet possible to say whether anything will actually come out of this concept.
