How to beat the Baishe boss in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty
Use Magic Spells and Martial Arts!
Baishe's biggest strengths lie in her large AoE attacks and area negation through her poison pools. Because of this, learning to counter moves well can be your best friend for this fight. Her heaviest punches are her most telegraphic, so it's all about timing her attacks.
She uses two large white snakes that act as her arms to jump forward and grab you in a death grip. This attack in particular can be deadly if you don't deflect it. This is a critical hit attack that is signaled by Baishe extending his arms back, holding them there for a second, then rushing forward.
Stay determined and deflect the blow only after she jumps out, or you will be caught, brought close and bitten, seriously injuring you, if not killing you directly.
Baishe also releases poison pools into the arena frequently, releasing droplets of poison into the air that land occasionally, creating dangerous AOE spots that dissipate after a few seconds.
More often than not, she won't launch another attack before time has passed for the pools of poison to disappear, so just hang back if she does and you should be safe.
Baishe can also charge up and can also jump into a body punch. Both can be dodged or must be rejected at the appropriate time when Baishe is about to make contact with you. Her tail is also her primary weapon, where she performs sweeps around her surroundings with her tail, which can stagger you very easily.
She can be deflected, but be prepared, as often she will do two back-to-back swings and the second will be delayed and come from the other side. With that in mind, be prepared for the second deflection to be delayed compared to how fast you need to hit for the first sweep.
There is also a four hit combo that baishé will perform where her right arm swings, followed by a right white snake, then a left arm and a left white snake. This is the fastest combo Baishe can pull off, but it's relatively easy to deflect entirely if you're not spamming but pressing reject consistently, with a tiny pause between the second and third strikes.
At around 50% health, Baisha can also perform another Critical Blow attack, where she quickly launches into the walls of the arena and quickly circles around you before jumping straight towards you in a devastating spin attack.
It can be difficult to preempt, but there is a second or so before she launches from the wall towards you, where she looks back at you and the two white snakes. If you want to reject it, you will need to wait until she has made contact with you. Hitting the deflection just as it comes off the wall will leave you open.
Strategy Guide
Атака | Description of the attack | Counteraction |
Dash | Baishe puts her hands forward and rushes for a long distance in a straight line, hitting everyone that stands in her way. | Dodge the road or the meeting if you can time it right. |
poison pools | Baishe raises her hands and her snakes spit out pools of green venom that surround the area around her. While the player is in the pool, their health bar turns green and their health slowly depletes. | Do not stand in the pool for long periods of time. The health drain is minimal, so if you find yourself inside a ring of poison, it's worth stepping out of the circle for a bit if you need more room to fight. |
Tail swipe | Baishe whirls around, fluffing her tail in a wide circle. She can do this move up to two times in a row. | This step cannot be avoided. Instead, either dodge if you're on the edge of the strike zone, or counter the movement. |
Slap | Baishe targets the character and makes two slaps with his snakes, and then makes a follow-up attack. This follow-up attack can either be a heavy overhead strike in front of her, or a quick attack from her snakes after she charges back. At 50% health or below, her subsequent attacks change. She can either strike two more times or send her snake towards her target by grabbing them and delivering a heavy blow. | Dodge the appearance or counter every attack. |
body punch | Baishe jumps up and strikes the target character. | Countering this move as the AoE can be too big to dodge if it is targeted. |
divebomb | Baishe bounces in the air and then flies around the circle of the arena. After a short time, she dives bombs at the target character, attacking in a spinning pattern. Only available at 50% health or below. | The distance she travels when she lands makes it difficult to dodge traffic. Try to confront him instead. |
