Fortnite is a shareware action game with elements of survival in a colorful post-apocalyptic world. Most of the planet was destroyed by a cataclysm, due to which strange zombie-like creatures began to appear. The survivors called them Husks. The last representatives of mankind fight off them, hiding in bizarre shelters, assembled from various materials. Along the way, they try to figure out the causes of the strange purple storm that started it all.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Coming to Fortnite in Season 1 Chapter 4? Yes, according to the latest leaks and the official teaser from Epic Games, Giannis Antetokounmpo, who currently plays for the Milwaukee Bucks, will indeed be joining the metaverse soon.

Although there is no exact date, it is known that the collaboration will happen this month. However, it's possible that it could be shown in-game before Winterfest 2022, or become a free cosmetic item that will be given out during the holiday season. But that's too much wishful thinking.

On that note, at the moment, there are no details on the type of collaboration that this will be. Given that the NBA legend LeBron James is the only legendary basketball player featured in the game to date, adding Giannis Antetokounmpo will make it an equal pair. However, here's everything you need to know about the upcoming collaboration.

Fortnite x Giannis Antetokounmpo is already gaining momentum online

Fortnite's collaboration with the NBA is nothing new. The first act took place in May 2021 and was called The crossover. Since then, basketball has become the main mini-game in the game. However, in Chapter 2 of Season 7, everything changed with the arrival of LeBron James.

While he was not the first professional athlete to become an Icon Series skin, he was the first basketball player. His arrival was marked by a lot of hype, and a mural was also created to commemorate the event, both in the game and in real life. More recently, a newer skin variant has been added called FFC LeBron James.

But going back to Giannis Antetokounmpo, there is no doubt that Epic Games and the community will give him a royal welcome in the metaverse. While sport can't be a barrel Slurp Juice for everyone, those who follow the game are already planning a "cop" skin as soon as it hits the item store.

Speaking of which, just like LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo will also be getting his own cosmetic package in Fortnite. Most likely, it will contain an Icon Series skin with two styles: a pickaxe, a back decoration, a loading screen, and maybe even quests. Based on how much the LeBron James package costs, Giannis Antetokounmpo's package will cost between 2 and 000 V-Bucks.

What else can players expect to see during the Fortnite x Giannis Antetokounmpo collaboration?

Cosmetics aside, Epic Games is sure to add some creative mode mini-games. Considering the map is saturated at the moment, having multiple basketball courts on the island wouldn't fit well given the current theme.

As with all major collaborations, players will likely have missions to complete in creative mode. This will reward them with experience points and cosmetics such as graffiti and emoji that are related to Giannis Antetokounmpo and the NBA in general.

With all said and done, players can expect the exact details of the upcoming Fortnite x Giannis Antetokounmpo collaboration to be revealed over the next few days. From the looks of it, the content in the game will explode exponentially, with enough players to keep them busy for the rest of the year.
