Bethesda has released a new patch 1.8.88 for Starfield
Game Developers Starfield announced the release of update 1.8.88, which was successfully tested in Steam Beta and is now available to all players. This patch is small, but it fixes several bugs, improving the quality of the game and eliminating the causes of crashes.
Xbox players and those who purchased the game from the Microsoft Store will no longer experience crashes when saving. An issue with random weapons appearing in new weapon boxes and following players with personal stones has also been fixed.
Bethesda continues to work on fixing other bugs, including one that was discovered by custom modders related to item ID codes. However, according to the author of the cooperative mod Starfield Together, who recently called the game “garbage” and closed his project, the activity of the creative community around Starfield is significantly inferior to The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.
