How to make concrete

Making concrete is really easy and roughly corresponds to the methods we use in real life to mix. To do this, players will need create concrete powder, which acts like many other particle-like objects in Minecraft. The easiest way to get it is with a shovel. In powder form, it will interact in the same way as sand or gravel. The real magic of concrete happens when powder mixed with water. This will cause the powder to turn into blocks, creating a smooth building material.

It is important to note that concrete cannot be made from water bottles or boilers. It also does not form during rain. You will need a real source of free flowing or "blocky" water. The recipe for concrete powder is simple and can be made with 4 blocks of sand and 4 gravel. Placing these blocks on the outer edges of the layout table and placing the appropriate dye in the center will cause the table to produce 8 powders of a certain color.

A more detailed guide on how to craft multi-colored concrete you find on this page.

What is concrete used for?

Concrete is decorative. Players looking to add color to their buildings and structures will definitely find Concrete to be a useful and versatile block. It comes in a variety of colors, has a smooth finish, and is slightly stronger than a traditional block. It can be "colored" with all 16 paints that are created, opening up a whole new world of color combinations and patterns. It's non-flammable, so you don't have to worry about fire ruining your beautiful aesthetic, as wool-based designs do.

You can use it to create a snare-type voice by setting them below the Note block. Concrete is slightly harder and more durable than stone, but it is important to note that it has an incredibly low impact resistance, so the Creepers and TNT will completely destroy any structure that is mostly concrete. Players must remember that colored concrete blocks must be made from colored concrete powder. You cannot turn a "made" concrete block into different colors, instead you must add a dye to the recipe for creating a powder in advance.

Destruction

Concrete is mined with any pickaxe. Otherwise, the block will not fall out.
