Black Lives Matter
On May 25, Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin killed George Floyd by kneeling on his neck for more than eight minutes. The brutality that was captured on video has led to renewed #BlackLivesMatter protests across the US and around the world. Demands for greater justice from a highly unjust and violent system are once again heard in cities and towns as millions of people protest.
In support of the #BlackLivesMatter movement, we're sharing some of the resources we've learned in recent days, a list of charities that support protesters, and general information on how you can contribute.
The PortalVirtualReality editors talk about what else we can do and we'll have a lot in common in the days and weeks ahead.
