Over 30 Stranger Things fans have signed a petition to resurrect a beloved character from Season 000. SPOILERS AHEAD...
Luckily, as the creators recently pointed out, Stranger Things isn't "Game of Thrones". On Netflix there were several heartbreaking scenes, from Barbara's passing to Bob's, dying under the slippery paws of the Demodogs.
However, the show isn't averse to killing off characters, and the promises of a body count in the season 4 finale were delivered with tear effect.
Maybe it's because fans really loved them in particular, or maybe Marvel's multiversal insanity messed up the finality of death. Whatever the reasons, a petition fighting for the return of one particular character is gaining traction online.

Over 30 people have signed a petition to bring Eddie back in Stranger Things season 000.
Eddie Munson was introduced in the first episode of the fourth season of Stranger Things. "Freak" for some, a legend Dungeons and Dragons for others, he ended up going on the run after Vecna brutally murdered Chrissy in his trailer.
In the final episode of season 4, Eddie distracted the bats of the Upside Down with a guitar solo from Metallica's Puppet Master. In a last attempt to keep everyone safe, he fought off the bats on his own. In the end, this heroism cost him his life. "I didn't run away this time, right?" No, Eddie, you didn't.
In the new petitions on Change.org there is a simple demand: RETURN EDDIE MANSON. At the time of writing, it has collected 30 signatures and it is still growing.
Eddie Munson's petition says he was "unjustly killed"
Petition, started by "Eddie Munson fans," reads: "This is the petition I started to bring back fan favorite Eddie Munson. The Duffer Brothers unjustly killed him and I think he deserves to be returned, and not just as a memory, please sign this petition to spread the word."
In addition to their love for the character, fans supporting the petition emphasized that he died as a villain in Hawkins' eyes. The police and locals believed that he killed Chrissy when he comforted her and tried to help her in her time of need, only to see her horrific death.
“Eddie needs his name cleared and he deserves to finally graduate,” wrote one signer.
“Let him clear his name. Let him finish his studies. He didn't need or deserve to die. Stop killing fan favorites,” commented another.
