Borderlands 2 VR Gets All DLC Free On PSVR This Summer
At the last PAX East presentation, Gearbox Software announced the release Borderlands 3 with a great debut trailer. However, there was no mention of VR support for the new game. Instead, they discussed the much-requested recent addition of PS Aim Controller support. They then confirmed that all past Borderlands 2 DLCs will be released for free this summer for Borderlands 2 VR.
This is great news for fans, because when Borderlands 2 VR launched, not only did it lack PS Aim controller support, it also lacked any of the DLC packs that had been released in the non-VR version for years. Now it will finally be filled with content.
After this moment on the stream, they also referred to "more information about VR", but stopped before revealing more news. Probably around the same time the DLC is released so that it will debut on all platforms at the same time.
Obviously, the big missing feature is still the lack of multiplayer support, but they always said from the start that this was reworked for single player, so it's probably never going to happen.
We appreciated the game's depth and size, but weren't fans of the PS Move controllers due to inaccurate movement and the lack of an analog stick. PS Aim Controller certainly helps a bit with this.
