Borderlands 3 Amara - Best Leveling Builds

Siren Amara is one of the playable characters in Borderlands 3. According to her class description, she is one of the 6 sirens in the Borderlands universe. Amara's phase ability is Phase Trance (English phasetrance). Amara differs from previous sirens in that she is a fast paced character who can really go head to head with her enemies. Her abilities allow her to control combat or gain an advantage by forcing her way through war zones. She can use Phase Strike on the ground to damage nearby enemies and knock them into the air, stop enemies in place with their giant ethereal fist of Phase Grab, or send their astral projection forward Phase Throw, which deals damage to everything in its path.

Skills
Unlike the Siren class characters from previous Borderlands games, Amara has three types of active skill (English Action Skill ), depending on the branch you are using. The skill tree consists of three branches, each of which is specialized in a particular style of combat:
- branch Fighting (eng. Brawl) specializes in hand-to-hand attacks and close combat. The branch corresponds to the active skill Phase Strike (English Phaseslam).
- branch Arcane Assault (Eng. Mystical Assault Skill) allows you to fight at medium distances. The branch corresponds to the active skill Phase Throw (English phasecast).
- branch Fist of the Elements (eng. Fist of the Elements) focuses on control and elemental damage against opponents. The branch corresponds to the active skill Phase Lock (English phasegrasp).
Phase Strike
Amara launches into the air and slams down on her enemies, damaging and knocking up all enemies in the radius.

Phase Throw
Amara sends an astral projection ahead of her, dealing damage to all enemies in her path.

- Cooldown: 22 seconds

Amara summons a huge fist that comes out of the ground and grabs the target for a few seconds (similar to Maya's Grab skill). Some enemies are immune to grabs and take damage instead.
- Duration: 7 seconds.
- Base reload speed: 13 seconds.
- Damage vs Grab Immune: 40
UNIVERSAL SOLO BUILD: MYSTIC STORM
What's amazing about this build is that it's super versatile because you can swap out your action skill element for any of the options available. That's it! We go deep enough into each tree to be able to quickly switch between abilities based on the fight we're about to take. This means we can always have the right elemental damage for the right situation.
One of the big keys to this build is the effect Allure Action Skill. This creates a singularity that pulls enemies in, and with the Ascendant Passive, the cast radius is greatly increased. Enemies hit by our deliverance action skill will take 25% additional damage from all sources due to the applied ability. This means you and your team will blunt a ton of damage from any enemies that are unlucky enough to get in the way of your Action Skill! We get to do this much more often by going all the way down the Mystic Assault tree and taking the Avatar. This allows us to re-activate our action skill while it's on cooldown.
MElee BUILD
If you want to smash enemies with your melee abilities, then this is the build for you! You need to go all the way down the brawl tree to pick up some powerful upgrades for our penetration. This tree also provides a lot of good defensive abilities, such as increased max health and health regeneration. We tried to find a middle ground that would increase our melee damage by 100%! It will also increase our melee range for a few seconds using an action skill. Jab Cross is maxed out in this tree, which gives us a significant buff to Action Skill damage after dealing damage with our melee attack.
At the bottom of the tree, we get a passive Blitz. This ability throws us forward and performs a special melee strike that deals elemental damage. If you get a kill, the blitz will reset so we can use it again! Our melee damage is increased by 100% again with this ability!
SNIPER BUILD: ELEMENTAL FIST
If you want to use a sniper rifle, then this build will help you lock enemies in place, allowing them to deal a lot of damage easily. This build focuses on the Fist of the Elements tree. We are upgrading our weapon handling and accuracy with hand stability, which will make sniping skills much more confident. We also capture fear, this makes it in such a way that our weapon damage increases after capturing the enemy. This passive also makes it such that any player who kills a captured enemy immediately reloads their weapon! As we go deeper into the tree, we get one of the key abilities promiscuity. This gives our shots a chance to ricochet and damage other nearby enemies. The damage is reduced, but it will still be significant!
