WHAT DOES MONEY BE USED FOR IN BORDERLANDS 3?
Money in Borderlands 3 is used in certain cases. It used to be not such a great resource, but now it's the only way to buy an SDU. Money can also be used to buy items and weapons from vending machines, and you'll be spending a hefty amount to replenish your ammo.
What is SDU (Storage Deck Upgrade)?
The SDU allows you to carry more ammo for the different weapons you will be using in the game. There are also modules allowing you to carry more money you can carry, bank items you can store, lost items you can retrieve, and even the number of items you can carry in your backpack. You will certainly want to upgrade them, and every time you upgrade one of the areas, the price goes up significantly for the next upgrade.

Toy Grenade Modifier
This method is not the best, but it is very effective. To do this, you will need to order deluxe edition of borderlands 3. This version includes the Toy Box Weapon Pack, which gives you a Toy Grenade Modifier. In turn, the modifier unlocks Rubber Cheddar Shredder. If for some reason you sold this mod, you can always start the game as a new character and you will get your bonuses again.
Rubber Cheddar Shredder has the perk, "enemies drop cash when damaged." This means that whenever you throw a grenade at an enemy with this gear, they will throw a bunch of cash on the ground. There are two ways to take advantage of this to earn cash.
At first, you can go out into the world and look for bunches of enemies that gather together and try to damage many at the same time. Boss fights are usually a good way to do this as well.
second method-Join a friend in Sanctuary. Go right next to the ammo vending machine and challenge each other to a duel. As soon as the duel starts, immediately start throwing grenades at each other. You will deal damage and money will start to pour in! Once you run out of grenades, simply refill your ammo at the vending machine. Keep doing this over and over until you have all the money you need. This method is even more convenient because you will be close to the SDU!
Selling things
This is the more traditional way to multiply your money if you don't want to use the previously mentioned method. The basic idea is pretty simple, find a way to quickly get a bunch of weapons and then sell them at the nearby vending machine.
Early stages of the game
If you want to get some money at the beginning of the game, then there is a pretty good Skag monster that gives you a weapon when you kill it, which you can immediately sell in a vending machine for some money. The boss is on Pandora, you need to go to Bluff Climbusing the Southwest Fast Travel Station. Once there, take the vehicle that has the weapon and drive south towards the area indicated on the next map.
You will see a small cave in the area and skags will spawn from it. Kill all of them until the Skag boss exits the cave area. Kill him and collect all the loot.
Run into the cave and you will find a weapon chest. Loot items from it and then exit to the Main Menu and re-enter the game. You will spawn right next to the vending machines so you can sell all the loot you just got and then you can jump into a vehicle and repeat the process all over again!
Later stages of the game
If you have progressed further in the game and reached the planet Eden-6, then there is a very easy way to earn money. Go to Floodmoor Basin where the Jacobs family estate is located, which is now home to the Wainwright Jacobs. You need to take on his task.
Once you complete your mission, he will invite you to his house. The house has two chests with weapons, which are located right inside the house on either side of the entrance. Search the chests and then Sell all the items in the nearby vending machine. Exit the game to the Main Menu and then come back. You will start right next to the chests again and you can loot them and sell them as many times as you want!
