Will there be a Seventh Season of Warzone & Modern Warfare?

With the end of life for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, fans are turning their attention to what's next for Warzone and a possible Season 7. Here's everything we know.
Call of Duty: Warzone represents new territory for Activision's acclaimed shooter series. Infinity Ward and Treyarch have been collaborating (and being developers) for a long time, but Warzone will be the first time that the creation of Infinity Ward has become a key part of a Treyarch game. Thus, as Black Ops Cold War approaches, questions dominate the minds of fans.
How will Warzone incorporate Black Ops Cold War weapons, gear, and ratings while retaining the gunplay and core mechanics of Infinity Ward? There's a lot in the air, like the possibility of a Warzone Season 7.
Is Season 6 the last season for Modern Warfare?
We know other seasons of Warzone will come, but how they will work alongside Black Ops Cold War remains a mystery.
Modern Warfare is currently in Season 6, however, Season 7 does not appear to be in use as Season 6's end date (November 24th or so) is pretty much indicative of it running ahead of launch. Black Ops Cold War. .
Theoretically, there could have been continuation of the Modern Warfare seasons, but given the inevitable drop in player numbers that will accompany the launch of BOCW, it's unlikely that Infinity Ward will follow that model.
Warzone Season 7?
As BKTOOR discovered, some Call of Duty marketing materials mention Season 7. It explains that you can purchase the Season 7 Battle Pass with CP earned in S6.
However, the new season of Warzone may not be related to Modern Warfare. While these images are from Season 7, they are probably just placeholders in Modern Warfare.

When the next season of Warzone comes out, it will most likely be at the same time as the first season of Black Ops Cold War. However, you can expect the usual additions to Warzone in the form of buffs, nerfs, new weapons, and POIs.
