Call of Duty Vanguard: Leaks Speak of Release Date and Game's Historical Accuracy
According to leaks about the upcoming Call of Duty installment (known as CoD: Vanguard), the next installment in the franchise will be historically accurate and take us back to the post-World War II era. We also found out the likely release date for the game.
According to the latest rumors, the next installment in the Call of Duty series, presumably subtitled Vanguard, should be officially announced next Thursday, August 19th. However, as is often the case, there are leaks before the presentation.
This time around, the pattern repeated itself - today the network was flooded with reports of a new shooter from Activision. Their reliability can be confirmed by the fact that they come m.in from trusted informant Tom Henderson and contain details about the bonuses that come with pre-orders. Let's start with the release date. The title, developed by Sledgehammer Games, is rumored to be announced during the CoD: Warzone event, and will release on November 5, 2021 on PC, PS4, PS5, XONE, and XSX|S.
Alpha tests are likely to take place next month, and a beta version of the game will be reviewed in October.
It is assumed that the new CoD will take us to the times after the Second World War. Moreover, it is expected to include characters inspired by historical figures. According to Henderson, they are Soviet election shooter Lyudily Pavlichenko, allied soldier Sidney Cornell, aviator Vernon L. Michel (known as "Mike"), and New Zealander Charles Hazlitt Upham.
The villain in the game should be the former head of the Gestapo, Heinrich Müller. More leaks. They refer to a dynamic weather system that will be offered in multiplayer mode and 24 maps designed for online play. However, it is unknown if all arenas will be available on launch day.
Vanguard is also expected to include the well-known and popular zombie mode, prepared by the studio treyarch, which created its counterpart in last year's Black Ops - Cold War. Will these rumors work? Reality proves that this is very likely. However, it is worth approaching them from the right distance and waiting for some information before the official announcement of the game.
