Call of Duty Warzone: Pacific Season 1 - Caldera Update, Battle Pass, Weapons & More

Call of Duty Warzone servers will be "down" on December 8th at 8:00 AM PT until Caldera Early Access starts on December 8 at 21:00 PT.

Just two days before the release date for Warzone Pacific, the developers gave players a glimpse of the full roadmap for Warzone Pacific and Season 1 of Vanguard.

On the Pacific front, the map and RICOCHET Anti-Cheat are the obvious centerpieces, but there are other intriguing additions as well. The roadmap details the new guns coming with the Battle Pass (including the deadly sniper rifle), the Festive Fervor seasonal event, and the return of mastercraft cosmetics.

Interestingly, Vanguard will be getting two new perks in Season 1, but it's unclear if they'll make their way into Caldera.

Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 1 Roadmap Revealed

As you can see in the overall roadmap, there's a lot going on in the first season of Warzone and Vanguard. Among the new additions, fans can expect a new map, contracts, Gulag, public events, vehicles and modes.

In addition, the Battle Pass and Vanguard integration means over 40 guns are coming to Warzone for the first time. One of them includes a brand new Gorenko anti-tank rifle that has been teased as a possible meta sniper.

Warzone Pacific Season 1 Update: Full Patch Notes

Take to a new front and discover this secret in the first season of Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific, a massive island-sized introduction to another incredible year for Call of Duty - complete with free weapons, maps, operators and other content. especially for Vanguard owners.

The first season will begin on December 8, after the Vanguard and Warzone updates. The Vanguard update is scheduled for December 6th at 9pm PT. Warzone will schedule its update when it shuts down its servers from December 7th at 9pm PT until December 8th at 9am PT to prepare for Warzone Pacific.

From all the free content in multiplayer, zombies and Warzone Pacific, to new innovations in the Battle Pass system and 24 hours of exclusive access to the new caldera map for Vanguard owners in Warzone Pacific, this is all you need to know for Season XNUMX:

Get ready for a brand new battle pass war

It's time to restock this arsenal for the Pacific.

The Season 100 Battle Pass for Vanguard and Warzone offers a new standard of value, both as part of the free Battle Pass system and as part of the full Battle Pass with access to XNUMX levels. During the first season, you can earn a lot just by playing the game, and you will get even more value by getting the full battle pass:

  • Three free functional weapons. Two new benefits. New equipment. Everything is free. Period.
  • Over 30 free items, including for clans. 300 COD points, weapon blueprints and more. Earn even more items by joining a clan with friends, then join parties for a 10% global experience boost.
  • First Trident operator: Francis "Kai" Lanakila. It's good to spend time here, not for long. Purchase the Battle Pass to unlock it immediately at level 0.
  • Legendary "Battleprepped" skin, free with the Battle Pass Bundle. Grab the Battle Pass Bundle to unlock all 100 levels, advance to level 20 and grab the new menacing Polina Skin.

Five new free weapons in the first season, including three in the Battle Pass system

For the first time in Call of Duty history, players will receive not just two, but three free functional weapons in the Seasonal Battle Pass system. And later in the season, a new SMG and additional melee weapons will provide players with great CQB options after completing their respective objectives or getting their hands on one of their weapon blueprints.

Cooper Carbine: Assault Rifle (Launch, Battle Pass Tier 15)

An American hybrid rifle with SMG-like properties, the Cooper Carbine is a short range assault rifle that is easy to control with a fast rate of fire.

It's best compared to the Automaton, another popular fast-firing assault rifle that members of the community have gravitated towards since launch. By default, the Cooper carbine has a slightly slower rate of fire, shorter effective range, and slightly more horizontal recoil, but in return offers better damage per shot, faster centering speed, and a larger default magazine.

Dive into the Gunsmith and you'll find attachments that can boost its rate of fire to 1000 rpm, damage three-shot elimination territory in multiplayer, or provide a 60-round drum magazine that locks this weapon completely into its SMG roots.

Expect it to be a solid mid-range option for Warzone Pacific and multiplayer, or as an Overkill backup for other ranged weapons in the Battle Pass system.

Gorenko Anti-Tank Rifle: Sniper Rifle (Start, Battle Pass Level 31)

Gorenko is going to hit hard on the enemies.

The Gorenko heavy semi-automatic rifle offers the most damage per shot of any ballistic-based weapon, capable of easily hitting any enemy in a multiplayer game. Despite being a semi-auto, subsequent shots can be difficult due to the incredible impact that its high caliber bullets produce.

This can be fixed with some available barrel attachments, or those who can somehow tame it can increase the rate of fire and aim down for a wildly aggressive sniper charge.

As the only weapon of its kind in Vanguard, it fills a unique role when facing enemies. However, in Warzone the Pacific Gorenko can rival similar sniper rifles from other Call of Duty games and could prove to be a long-range option for top players in tough challenges and competition.

Sawtooth: Melee (Launch, Battle Pass Level 37)

The first functional melee weapon ever dropped into the Battle Pass system contains a serious bite.

Stitched with shark teeth around the perimeter of the club, the Sawtooth can punch and cut enemies just as well as the FS Combat Knife.

Consider it an alternative to the lone secondary melee weapon in Vanguard.

Katana: Melee (Launch window)

This single-edged Japanese longsword adds another deadly melee option along with the FS Combat Knife and Sawtooth.

Welgun: SMG (In season)

A prototype designed by Captain Butcher's SOESE, the Welgun finds its way into the Vanguard arsenal despite being produced in limited numbers.

Like the Sten with default ammo, the Welgun is extremely compact and relatively well balanced thanks to the integrated grips.

Unlock Katana and Velgun during the first season in Vanguard or Warzone Pacific, either through a challenge or through new store packs coming over the course of the season.
