show

Exhibition CES 2021 will arrive on schedule starting Wednesday, January 11th and will continue until Saturday, January 14th. But instead of the usual grand expo at the Las Vegas Convention Center, it will be entirely online as a virtual event. With nearly 2000 exhibitors and tons of streams coming from tech companies around the world, this show can easily become intimidating, making it impossible to follow even if you're watching from the comfort of your home. As such, we'll go over what to expect and wrap up some of the show's biggest and best announcements as it kicks off so you don't miss a beat.

What to Expect at CES 2021

As we mentioned earlier, CES 2021 will be completely digital. This means that if you are a registered member, you will be viewing all the houses via video conference or stream. People can attend various activities and you can explore all of them in CES 2021 official schedule .

If you're not attending the virtual show, you can still check here for the latest announcements, as well as follow the streams that some members are making available to the public. We have compiled a list of exhibitors to keep an eye on during CES 2021:

We especially recommend tuning in to streams from AMD, Nvidia, and Samsung, all of which you don't need to register to watch. PortalVirtualReality will also be streaming CES or a few individual streams and we'll be sharing more details on that soon.

Expectations and announcements before CES 2021

Companies usually hold large exhibitions with small announcements. We have included some of the more notable facts below.

Samsung MicroLED Consumer TV

Samsung announced that their TVs MicroLED now available in 88" and 99" sizes. First announced back in December 2020 with a 110-inch screen and requiring professional installation, the new MicroLED sizes allow for regular installation right out of the box, just like traditional TVs.

Samsung Neo QLED TV

Neo QLED is coming out of Samsung's new line of TVs. Featuring a 0,9mm thin bezel, an AI-driven quantum processor, and new LED light source technology, Samsung says the Neo QLED is aimed at delivering more immersive sound and images, as well as more refined backlighting.

Be sure to check back here as soon as CES 2021 kicks off as we'll be constantly updating our roundup with the biggest and best news from the show.
