Chamber Valorant: How to play, abilities, tips and tricks.
Chamber is a Valorant French Guardian and we have a guide to his abilities as well as some tips and tricks.
Chamber's launch in Valorant Episode 3 Act 3 was explosive when the agent really took Future Earth by storm with his impressive arsenal. The utility he offers is very different from other Guardians, acting like a duelist in most situations.
If you are confident in your aim, then Chamber is a valiant agent for you. We've got a complete guide to the French Guardian right here, including a breakdown of abilities and a few tips and tricks to get the most out of it.
Chamber abilities in Valorant
Chamber loves one thing about Valorant and that's big, bulky guns. He has access to an arsenal of weapons - he can juggle up to four weapons at the same time depending on the round, but these are not all the abilities he has access to.
- Ability 1 — Crown reception (150 credits, max 2): Description: Places a trap that detects enemies. When an enemy is in range, the trap goes off after a short delay and destabilizes a small area, slowing players inside.
- Ability 2 - Bounty Hunter (100 credits per bullet, max 8 bullets): Description: Press the skill button to select a heavy pistol. Press the alt button. fire to aim from this gun.
- Ability 3 - Rendezvous (Free, 20s cooldown): Description: Places two teleport anchors. While on the ground within the range of one anchor, press the skill button again to quickly teleport to the second. Anchors can be picked up and re-placed.
- Ultimate Ability — A show of force (7 points): Description: Press the skill button to select a particularly powerful sniper rifle that can kill the enemy with any direct hit. At the site of the death of the enemy, a field appears, slowing down the players within it.
While his set is heavily focused on his firepower, Chamber does do some good in the form of two slows. He also has a handy teleport that he can use to get back to safety which we'll talk about in more detail.
Chamber is an aggressive agent of Guardian - almost like a duelist in Valorant. He still provides his team with a lot of value with slowdowns. You can also boost your deadly firepower, get frags, and then instantly return to safety with the help of well-placed teleporters. It's always a good idea.
However, the big disadvantage of Chambera's gameplay is that it is very dependent on aim. Two of his four abilities are just cannons, and the third is a teleport. It's hardly good for a Guardian to have just one ability that "benefits" the team if you're not a good shot.
Therefore, you need to be ready to go forward, participate in duels and win battles for your team. This is especially smart on defense where Chamber can single-handedly hold points before teleporting to safety to wait for his teammates to return.
Place your traps in hard to reach places
Chambera traps are very strong if placed in the right place, but they are also incredibly fragile. Do you want them to activate in a way that enemies don't know about it? Then you need to place them at right angles, on turns where the enemy will not detect it immediately, or in various boxes, flowerpots, etc., etc.
Trust your aim? Buy bullets in the Bounty Hunter on eco.
Want two guns to start the game? With Chamber, you can do just that thanks to his Bounty Hunter pistol. Stronger than Sherif, if you're confident in your aim, you'll want to buy some bullets heading into the pistol round as well as the eco.
You can buy four bullets and 2 traps in the pistol round, or use the full eight-shot Bounty Hunter. If you invest in a Bounty Hunter and hit the target, it's worth it. However, if all else fails, at least you have a Classic Pistol to fall back on.
The same strategy works for eco rounds - and if you get a couple of kills, you can completely change the course of the game (and the economy) in your team's favor.
The Ultimate is a great investment for Chambera, akin to Jett releasing their ultimate when the opportunity presents itself. It has more power: The five-shot sniper is one-shot kills anywhere on the body and drops a slow field on corpses.
Given that the operator requires a large investment, thanks to Chamber you can get a double "sniper" installation for cheap. Place one on your Jetta (or other aiming god) and let Chamberu rip enemies to pieces with his ultimate.
