At the same time, many aspects of the game that previously required such aggressive mods have been moved to more easily modifiable data areas in the remaster, so modders will still be able to access them. So access to them will remain, despite the stricter security measures of modern Battle.net.
Battle Friends Lists.net, dedicated servers and security. Rob Gallerani says Blizzard is battling item cloning, bots, and other gimmicks in the modern Battle.net client. In addition, the new game allows you to simply click on a friend's name to invite them to play, without having to enter an IP address or scroll through a list of game sessions.
