The Golden Crown of Victory was introduced in Chapter 3 of Fortnite, giving players the opportunity to show off their victories as well as earn bonus experience, but you'll have to work hard to get it.
Chapter 3 debuted with a host of features, including an all-new map and a crossover with Spider-Man. One of the best new features, however, is the arrival of a special item known as the Crown of Victory.
Whether you earned the Golden Crown of Victory yourself, found it on the floor during a match, or just spotted another player wearing it, we'll explain what it means in Fortnite and how to get it.
What is the Crown of Victory in Fortnite?
The Crown of Victory is a special item that can be obtained from players who get to the final moments of the match in classic battle royale mode, meaning only the best Fortnite players will be able to get their hands on it.
If you earn the Fortnite Crown of Victory, you will start your next match with it. Although this gives you a chance to earn bonus experience, it will also make you a target for other players who want the crown for themselves.
Finally, if you manage to win a match while wearing the Crown of Victory, you unlock the special emote "Crown Achievement", which shows the number of matches you have won while wearing the crown.
How to get the Crown of Victory in Fortnite
Here are the minimum requirements to earn the Fortnite Crown of Victory:

- Eliminated crown holder
- Captured the crown of victory
The chance to earn bonus XP, unlock the Crowning Achievement emote, and also get bragging rights in the next match means the Victory Crown will be a hot commodity in Fortnite, so try to hold on to it.
