It's All Gobbledegook is the thirty-eighth main quest in Hogwarts Legacy. This step-by-step guide will show you how to find evidence of Ranrok's plan.
Demand: Complete the quest "In the Shadow of the Dungeon" and read Lodgok's letter from Owl Messages. Level 21

Quest info: The mystery gets deeper. Today I took Amit with me to meet Lodgok at the goblin mine in the southeast. Lodgok told me about Bragbor, Ranrok's ancestor, who was commissioned by a group of witches and wizards to build fortified vaults out of goblin metal. Ranrok is looking for these vaults and the power they contain - he wants to take it for the entire goblin line. In the mine, Amit and I discovered that the Loyalists were building huge drills, presumably to search for vaults. According to Lodgok, Ranrok had already discovered one of them, and the power within changed him. He fears that if Ranrok finds the largest vault, it could mean a big war for all of us.

Start: Something on the Gobbledook
We may have found a way to get ahead of Ranrok, and Lodgok may be just the man we need.
Move to the Astronomy Wing > Astronomy Tower at Hogwarts Castle and go to the roof where the quest marker is. Talk to Amit.
Head to the quest marker and talk to Lodgok.
Proceed to the next quest marker. However, as Lodgok just mentioned, we must not be seen by the eye above the door. So, make sure the eye is closed and then cast the Deillumination Spell. Then open the door and enter the mine.
Continue down the tunnel and set the car on fire with a fire spell, then enter the elevator to control it.
Get off the platform and use Accio on the hook on the handle on the left to repair the pipe and activate the conveyor belt to release some bags of galleons, then continue down the main path.
Use Accio on the platform to bring it closer to you, and then again on the other handle to get to the other side.
Defeat the enemies and then activate the Deillumination Spell to turn invisible and go through the door.
In the next room, check the right side for an Incendio furnace. Then return to the previous room and cast Accio on the handle above and to the left of the door to repair the pipe.
Climb up the sewers and crouch under it, then use Depulso on the grid to open a path forward to chest.
Now continue along the main path. In the next room, stay on the ground floor and cast Revelio. Interact with all the loot, especially the blue item on the table, then do the same with the rooms upstairs. Defeat the enemies at the top and then continue down. Defeat the enemies and then clear the area. Climb up and use Depulso on the grid, then crouch on the other side to find two chest. Return to the area where you came from. In the same room, there is an oven for Incendio and a pen for Accio next to it.
After the pipe is fixed, continue through the tunnels of the cave. In the next area, defeat the enemies and then turn invisible with a Deillumination Spell to get past the eye above the door. Once you enter the next room, search the room and collect the blue item from the quest marker.
Use Incendio on the furnace. Light it up and then return the same way you came from. Check the right side of the door with the eye for an Accio handle. Go to the elevator and then run along the only path until you reach another cave.
Once you get to the cave, check the left side for a ladder leading to a locked door. If you have a level 2 Alohomora (unlocked by finding 18 Demimasca Figurines and returning them to Moonmaster Gladwyn), then you can open the door to get some pretty decent loot, otherwise skip that door for now and keep going through the cave that will take you back to the beginning of the section. Now follow the main path back to return to Hogwarts Valley.
Near the mine, talk to Amit.
And finally, talk to Lodgok for the final cutscene of the quest.
This completes the Hogwarts Legacy quest "Something on the Gobbledock".
