Zhong Li Genshin Impact: All Buffs, Stat Change Details

Everyone's favorite Genshin Impact character Jun Li is getting massive buffs to his stats in Update 1.3
Recently, the developers have received a lot of feedback and questions about Zhong Li.
We know that everyone loves it and is looking forward to news about future changes, so the headquarters myHoYo shared information about how the abilities and talents of the character will be reworked, as well as when the changes will take effect.
After carefully analyzing thousands of feedback from gamers both in the game and on the Internet regarding Zhong Li's strength directly in battle, the details of the use of his skills and the Geo element system, the studio began work on fixing the banner.
After reviewing in-game statistics and numerous discussions, miHoYo has released the first version of the changes. They will go live on the 1.3 Test Server soon, where they can be seen by the players participating in the testing. The planned changes relate to 4 areas: strengthening Zhong Li's talents, improving the mechanics of skills and the experience of using them, increasing Geo's elemental resonance, and balancing Geo shield.
In the upcoming test of version 1.3, work on tracking character statistics will continue. The developers have promised that they will be able to significantly improve the experience of Travelers from the game.
Before the changes take effect on the official server, players were presented with the final version of the character rework plan.
Planned changes (not final version)
● Changes of Zhong Li himself
1. Changes to the passive talent "Domination of the Earth"
Initial effect:
Comet Impact deals additional damage equal to 33% of max. HP Zhong Li.
Effect after changes:
Depending on max. HP increases the damage of Zhong Li's following attacks:
• Normal attack, charged attack, and falling attack damage is increased by 1,39% of max. HP.

• Dominus Lapidis Geo Column Damage, Resonance Damage and Long Press Damage increased by 1,9% of max. HP.

• The damage of the Comet Fall skill is increased by 33% of the max. HP.
2. Change the effect when long pressing the skill "Power over the stone"
Initial effect:
Explodes nearby Geo energy with the following effects:
• Creates a jasper shield, the absorption of which depends on the max. HP Zhong Li. Absorbs Geo damage 250% more effectively.
• Deals Geo area damage.
• If there are Geo element targets nearby, then drains the Geo element from them (up to two targets). This effect does not deal damage.
Effect after changes:
Explodes nearby Geo energy with the following effects:
• If the number of Geo Columns has not reached the maximum, it creates a Geo Column.

• Creates a jasper shield, the absorption of which depends on the max. HP Zhong Li. Absorbs elemental damage and physical damage 150% more effectively.
• Deals Geo area damage.
• If there are Geo element targets nearby, then drains the Geo element from them (up to two targets). This effect does not deal damage.

● Changes in Geo mechanics
1. Changes to the elemental resonance "Geo Strength".
Initial effect:
Increases interrupt resistance. When protected by a shield, increases attack damage by 15%.
Effect after changes:
Shield strength is increased by 15%. If the character's shield is active, then attack damage is increased by 15%, and when dealing damage to an enemy, his Geo resistance for 15 seconds. is reduced by 20%.
2. Change the balance of the Geo shield
Geo Shield now "absorbs elemental damage and physical damage 150% more effectively" instead of "absorbs Geo damage 250% more effectively".
The changes will affect:
• Geo shield elemental skill Zhong Li;
• Geo shield elemental skill Noelle;
• Geo shield from Geo crystals dropped from Geowishap babies.

Since our primary goal is more than just tweaking individual character stats, we're taking the utmost care and want to provide Travelers with a detailed roadmap, rather than just suddenly introducing big changes.
