The miner has a built-in database of belts, they are divided by the amount of memory (4GB or 8GB) and its type (Samsung, Elpida, Hynix, Micron). The number determines the intensity of work (- strap 1 supports a higher memory clock than - strap 2). To get the best hash rate, you need to set the memory frequencies to high. You can specify only the strap index, for example -strap 1, or give a full description in the POL8S1 format: POL means Polaris, 8 means 8 GB, S means Samsung memory, 1. Overclocking video cards has a negative impact on performance. The concept of "cruising speed" is also applicable to the hashrate of GPU farms. By raising the frequencies and applying additional commands, you will speed up the process by 3-5%, but the number of shares sent to the server may not increase, but, on the contrary, slightly fall. It is necessary to find the optimal overclocking data for each video card.
