CoD Mobile Season 1 New Order: Weapons, New Map, Release Date & More
Call of Duty Mobile is gearing up for the start of Season 1: New Order, which kicks off the last week of January. So here's what we know about the update.
While there is already a lot of content in CoD Mobile, the developers have been releasing regular updates since launch to keep it up to date.
These updates are basically big season updates that bring a new theme to the game, as well as new characters, new maps, and of course, new gear like weapons and perks.
With the first update of 2021, the developers are resetting the counter so there won't be a 14th or 15th season ahead. Instead, we get Season 1: The New Order, and we're in for a few flashbacks. So here's what you need to know.
Date and time of the release of the first season of CoD Mobile New Order
The next major update for CoD Mobile is just around the corner. The first season will air on Tuesday, January 26.
While the community was given a few days to think, the developers soon confirmed this exact date and time in a January 4th tweet.
Now we know exactly when we can return with all the fresh content. Expect the launch hour to be filled with returning players, so logging in may take a little longer than usual.

New weapons - FAMAS & SKS
As for the new weapon, again, it's still mysterious, but it doesn't take much intelligence to figure out what we're being teased about.
Two new weapons coming soon - very likely to be the FAMAS from previous CoD and SKS games, which was used in Modern Warfare and Black Ops releases.

🆕💥 The new, yet familiar weapon FR .556 is coming to #CODMobile early next week in the new season! pic.twitter.com/x378b8iEUH
Because developers like to see things their way, FAMAS has been renamed FR.556 to CoD Mobile. From that early glimpse we saw, he still has a hell of a punch. It also boasts a high rate of fire with minimal recoil.
Meanwhile, SKS also arrives with the same original name.
🆕 💥 The new weapon, SKS will be joining the Marksman Rifle family in the next season!

The powerful Marksman rifle is capable of taking down enemies with a few quick pulls of the trigger. This could shake up the meta in Season 1, so definitely look out for this new addition.
New map for CoD Mobile 2021 Season 1 — Reclaim
As for the new map, the developers have already shown its teasers. However, if you're new to CoD Mobile, you may not immediately understand what I'm talking about.
The teaser does bear a resemblance to Modern Warfare's Piccadilly, and some fans have suggested that it could be something completely new. However, the answer is a bit simpler.
The new map for Season 1: New Order will actually be Reclaim, a map from the Season 13 Test Server. How can we know? Well, there's a big Christmas tree in the middle of the teaser that matches what we saw in Reclaim.
🏙 Welcome to Reclaim!

New Battle Royale Mode for CoD Mobile - Blitz
Insane BR mode is coming to CoD Mobile with Season 1. Blitz, which introduces a faster take on the standard format with "smaller areas, less time and more action".
With smaller circles, players will be forced to fight much earlier than in a regular BR playlist. In addition, zones move much faster than in standard mode.
The mode aims to keep you on your toes while providing a slight alternative to BR. If you don't have time for a full game, Blitz is a quicker option to get the same thrill much faster.

New class CoD Mobile Battle Royale - Desperado
In the first season, a new class has been introduced that will bring changes to the royal battle. Desperado aims to blur the lines as an "offensive defender". The new class not only has a deployable turret, but also gives you the Last Stand ability.
The Shield Turret can be placed anywhere on the map and has "unlimited ammo" for the duration. Players are protected to some extent by controlling the turret thanks to well-placed shields. Of course, you are still fully open at the back to keep the balance of power.
Meanwhile, Last Stand lets you get back on your feet in a dire situation. If you fall, you will draw a gun and get a chance to get revenge. Killing with this gun will bring you back to life.
🛡💥 Be an offensive defender!

Who is the new character in CoD Mobile Season 1 New Order?
For those fans who love getting a new character at the start of a new season, that tradition should continue here, even with the move into Season 1.
But who will it be? Well, the developers are teasing that this is Raul Menendez - a face that should be familiar to Black Ops fans. Although it hasn't been confirmed yet. So, we'll have to wait and see.
As far as bug fixes, weapon nerfs, and buffs go, these have yet to be revealed by the developers and should be filtered out shortly before the start of the new season.
Once they're here and we have more confirmed information on Season 1: The New Order, we'll update this post so you don't miss anything.
