CoD Warzone: Easter Eggs and Secret Locations You Might Not Know About
Call of Duty's new arcade battle royale, Warzone, is finally here, and its giant map holds a lot more secrets than meets the eye.
One of the most interesting aspects of the Warzone map (besides being massive) is that it contains several easter eggs and secret locations that are larger than they might first appear.
Many locations pay homage to past Modern Warfare titles, including multiplayer maps, campaigns, and even zombies.
Below you can find a guide to all of these attractions on the map, as well as some of the Easter eggs that have been discovered since launch.
Classic Maps and CoD Moments
Terminal
When Warzone was first shown in the Modern Warfare Season 2 trailer, many assumed that the burning plane shown at the end was the iconic terminal map from MW2.
It turns out that the airport area is not really a map, but a completely different design and layout. However, the broken plane is very similar to the one found in the Mile High mission from Call of Duty 4.
Killhouse
One of the smallest locations from CoD 4, Killhouse appears on the Warzone map located near the same airport.
The layout of the area is identical to the map, with the same ledges, raised platforms, and objectives. The only significant difference is that there is no roof, but walls that surround the room and separate it from the environment.
This is probably not the safest or best place to land as these walls can trap you and the loot might not be worth the risk.
Broadcast
Broadcast is another well-known map from CoD 4 recreated in Warzone, and has actually become one of the biggest battle royale hotspots due to its location and loot.
Aside from the lighting and colors being vastly improved from the original version, the map is pretty much identical, showing the same rooms and areas that you could visit in multiplayer.
Burger Grad
Fans of the Modern Warfare series will recognize Burger Town, which was an in-game fast food joint featured in both the campaign and multiplayer of Modern Warfare 2 and 3, as well as the Zombies map in Advanced Warfare.
There are several of these restaurants scattered around the map, and like the MW3 version, the signs for it are written in Russian.
There is a main Burger Town location that is post-created modeled from past games, while others are just smaller layouts, layouts that don't look like the original.
Easter eggs
Now that we have the classic recreations of the Warzone CoD map, let's take a look at some of the cool Easter eggs found on the Battle Royale map.
Gulag
The Gulag, of course, is where players end up after they've been killed for the first time in Warzone - and for every two sent there, one of them returns to the game.
Interestingly, this area can also be accessed on the actual BR map: if you walk towards the ground level prison, there is a large sewer pipe that you can climb into to access the 1v1 area.
Keyboard in military bunker
To the east of the stadium is a military-style bunker that has a locked area that appears to be keyboard-only accessible.
You can find this easter egg by going down to the basement level of the bunker, and when you get close to the keyboard, a command prompt will appear that will let you try to enter the code.
At present, no one has been able to figure out the secret code or what is hidden behind the locked doors - but the fact that it exists indicates that Infinity Ward could potentially be hiding something in the near future.
Interactive phones and computers
Phones and computers are located at different points on the map, with which you can answer and interact.
Like the keyboard shown above, some computers let you try to enter the password as you get close, although this is another secret that players haven't figured out yet.

If you find any additional secrets on the BR map, be sure to send them to us, and it can be covered in our next guide.
Warzone is currently free to play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, even if you don't own the full Modern Warfare.
