Walkthrough Code Vein

You can access the Howling Pit by jumping into the abyss in Area E-13. Find the lever next to Mistle. Use it to light a fire that is used to mark your path. The place is very dark and visibility is quite limited.

Go down and start exploring the location on the right side. You will mainly encounter jelly-like enemies and large demons. Walk as far forward as possible. You will face two demons. Defeat them and take the Iron Queen.

The path leading up is on the left. There you will find two demons guarding the lever and Atlas Vestge, Part A.

After that, return to the beginning and start walking on the left side. Enter the water to get the Lost Shard (M), the Iron Queen, and the Tonic. Be careful, there are many opponents here. There are several places where the water gets deeper - it will slow down your character. Moreover, some demons are hiding in the water - you will only be able to see their horns. Here it is convenient to stick to the edge of the map.

The lamp on the barrels should be your reference point (look at the picture). There you will encounter jelly-like opponents.

To the right is another hill - it leads to the next Vestige and a lever. They are guarded by an enemy that looks like the second form of Oliver Collins.

Defeat him, take the Killer Part D and pull the lever. Go down the hill and take the Bugaralli doll.

Step back and go to the barrels and containers, take the stun cartridge (x2). Turn left - you will find a large enemy with red eyes guarding Vestige's Killer Core.

Defeat him, go around the location. You will meet a new type of enemy - balls with spikes that are thrown in your direction.

Return to the containers and keep walking. At the end of the path, you will encounter three jelly-like monsters. Destroy them and then cleanse the Rotten Mistle to refresh the map. You will learn which parts of the map need to be explored.

Return to the barrel. From there, go to the next hill, guarded by a demon. There you will find a chest with GXM Variant +3 and Awakening MJ109. Drop down and move towards the flame.

Stick to the left. You will encounter several demons. Defeat them and then go a little further - you will find the Assassin's Vestige Part B. Turn around and go upstairs. Unlock Mistle - Hills of Deception.
