Command & Conquer: Red Alert - Free Download

Command & Conquer: Red Alert is the second part of Westwood's classic real-time strategy series. The game started a new branch of the series, which then developed in parallel with the Tiberium universe. The action takes place in a world transformed as a result of the invention of the time machine. With his help, changes were made to history with far-reaching consequences. The elimination of Adolf Hitler at a young age meant that World War II never broke out, which in turn led to a much faster rise in the power of the Soviet Union.

The game's plot takes place in the 1950s and tells about the conflict between the Soviet Empire and the allies. Each of these factions have their own campaign, during which the story progresses both through the events during the mission and through numerous cut-scenes.

The version you download from our FTP is the full version, containing both the base version of Command & Conquer: Red Alert and add-ons. To install it, simply extract the archive to a directory of your choice. Before starting the game, it is recommended to configure the program using the RedAlertConfig.exe file. This will allow you to select a resolution, enable windowed mode, or choose to apply graphic filters.

In addition, RedAlertConfig.exe will also allow you to deal with any problems by changing the settings in the Video Options tab:

• If the game crashes and you get errors, make sure you have the "Force single CPU affinity" option checked.
• If the game runs too fast on your computers, enter 60 in the Max FPS box.
• If your mouse is causing you problems, check the "Allow mouse hacking" option.
