While the annual Cologne event may not be one of Valve's official big events, the perpetually raucous crowd certainly makes it feel like one of the big ones, and with a line-up promising an explosive event, it shouldn't be any different this year.
So here's what you need to know about ESL One Cologne 2019.
How to watch ESL One Cologne 2019
Whether you're making a pilgrimage to the Counter-Strike Cathedral or watching from home, there will be ESL to watch in every corner.

At the time of writing, there are still a few tickets available on the ESL website, but if you can't get there quickly, just kick back with your feet and watch the action on our site wherever you are.
With group stage games running in tandem, you'll need to open more than one Twitch stream if you don't want to miss a match, but we've got both built in here for your convenience. Of course, additional language translations will be available.

What is Format?
Teams will play the best of one group game to open the tournament and the following games will be played as the best of three maps. These starting matches are already defined and can be found below.
After that, the top three teams will advance to the playoffs, where they will then play the best of the three series in the quarter-finals and semi-finals. The group winners will advance to the semi-finals, the second-placed teams in the quarter-finals will receive high places, and the third-placed teams will receive low places.
The grand final taking place on Sunday July 7th will be the best of five series to determine the overall winner of ESL One Cologne 2019.
What are these groups?
Groups for the event were revealed on June 28 with Group A, which is mostly dominated by North American teams, while Group B hosts the best in Europe.

What's the schedule?
As mentioned earlier, the five-day event kicks off on July 2nd and will run until July 7th. The first set of matches will kick off at 11am GMT/ 7AM EST / 4AM PST with Team Liquid battle MVP PK and Natus Vincere taking on Mousesports.
