CS:GO Vertigo - Manual. Tips, Tricks and More
Vertigo is now in CS:GO which means there is a brand new map to master. Here's a look at some tips and tricks for dominating the new map.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has been a mainstay in the competitive FPS community since its launch and that still hasn't changed.
Since then, many other games have emerged that can rival them in the competitive realm, PUBG, Overwatch, Call of Duty and Fortnite come to mind, but CS:GO remains a strong point.
Vertigo Map Details
Vertigo includes a high-rise building under construction and has two different floors for players to roam.
Terrorists spawn on the bottom floor and counter-terrorists spawn on the top floor. There are three separate points on the map, where the terrorists will have several options to choose from in order to climb up.
There is one easy way to get down to the lower floor from above, it is to jump down the open elevator shaft. Although the map has two floors, it is actually quite small, so you need to start acting quickly, right from the very beginning of the round. Hearing footsteps is key to this card, especially when it comes to the difference between upstairs and downstairs.
Vertigo has many ways to fight terrorism. The above video, at approximately 3:46, shows a team being able to stack a three-player pyramid to reach the wall peak on the ramp. This, of course, will not be a popular strategy, but it is possible.
The video also showcases many other points where players will be able to get winning points that will counter the "regular" ones.
In the second video, there are even more places that everyone needs to know about, including veteran players. It shows a lot more spots on the walls with which you can hit unsuspecting players (shooting places).
In fact, almost every location is shown throughout this three-minute video, and you'll be much better at spotting shots than your opponents, but you'll also be able to see other ways to maneuver around the map.
As more players get used to this map, expect to see even more tips in the future. In the meantime, these tips should help you better understand the reimagined Vertigo map.
