CS:GO - How to Play the Updated Cache Map
CS:GO players can finally get their hands on a redesigned version of the popular competitive map Cache.
Card developer FMPONE is working on a major overhaul for Cash as it has been removed from the competitive pool and replaced with Vertigo in March of this year, and the new version is finally ready.
The redesigned map debuted with a show match at ESL One New York, offering a preview of what was to come. Now, the map has been completed and is available to play for regular players in the game.

However, the map has yet to be added to any of Valve's official playlists. Instead, those who want to play the map will have to go through the workshop to get it.
To do this, players can select "Workshop Maps" from the drop-down menu in the upper left corner of the playback screen in CS: GOand then select “Visit Workshop” in the top right corner. Once you've found the map, Click the green "Subscribe" button and it should be uploaded to the Workshop Maps tab.
Given the map's popularity, it's likely that it will be visible on the front page of the workshop for some time, although those trying to find it may search for "CACHE (NEW)" and the map's creator is FMPONE.
While this may not be available through Valve, players can still find matches on the map by going to the community servers. In addition, Mapcore Face It Hub announced that they have added a new Cache to the map pool, allowing players to search for competitive games on the map using a free account faceit.
Those familiar with the original Cash will certainly find the new version familiar, and the overall structure will remain largely the same. The map has received a visual update, however, and subtle changes to the shape and placement of various areas can have a significant impact on how the map plays, potentially creating new angles for pre-targets and grenades.
