Trophies in Cyberpunk 2077 can be divided into the following categories: Story, Ending, Certain Side Quests, Miscellaneous/Combat, Collectibles, Side Activities. You will need almost 100% completion. Everything can be done on easy difficulty. There are no difficulty related trophies. It doesn't matter which starting life path you choose, so do what you enjoy. Your choices throughout the game also do not affect the ending, everything is decided by dialogue in the final mission. After the story, you will be at the point of no return (before the last mission) and can continue with any side actions you have left. The last mission can be repeated as many times as you like to get all the endings. Some trophies can get very rough if you don't focus on them from the start.
Step 1. Complete the storyline (on any difficulty)
First of all, you should focus on the story. The reason is that all activities in the open world will be automatically marked on your map after completing the story, and several side storylines are hidden behind the progression of the story. After the story, all side content will be available to you. Of course, you can already start working on side tasks when they become available.
It doesn't matter which starting life path you choose (Nomad, Streetkid, Corpo). They only have a different Prologue and a few different dialogue options, but they all follow the same story path. Your choice of story also doesn't matter for the ending. After the story, you will return before the last mission so you can replay it for different endings. The endings are chosen during the dialogue in the final mission "Nocturne Op55N1", which decides which epilogue you get. Your choices in the rest of the story do not affect the ending. So don't worry, you can't choose anything bad. Each life path also has a few unique side quests, but they don't matter for trophies. In addition, all trophies can be obtained on easy difficulty.
The only thing to worry about is a few different trophies. You should be working on this from the very beginning - for further reading, check out their details in the trophy guide:
You must choose 10 different dialogues, related to your starting life path throughout the game. Which life path you choose does not matter. There are over 10 possibilities for this, but you might technically miss it if you've already done everything and haven't used these dialogs.
Autojock / Full mince - purchase of all vehicles in the game. Don't waste money on anything other than trophies. Don't spend money on weapons, armor, or high-end cyberware until you've bought all the machines. If you spend too much money on other things, it can make this trophy more difficult. Save all your money.
Ten out of Ten / Ten out of ten - Specialize in one skill to bring it to the maximum level. Skills are "learning by doing", meaning you have to kill enemies in a certain way multiple times in order to level up the skill (for example, performing kills with the same type of weapon will level up that weapon in the skill tree). If your skill progress gets stuck, you should add a few more attribute points to the attribute tree to keep getting more skill experience.
Must Be Rats / Rats, or what? - Send script "Distract enemies" 30 times without drawing attention to yourself. This will require some stealth, you should scan () green objects in the environment (TVs, vending machines, cameras) and press,to perform a hack. If you always fire your guns and forget about this trophy, it can get tedious eventually. During the side missions, there are still many opportunities.
Master Crafter / Cyberconstruction - Craft 3 legendary items. Requires 18 points attributes in "Technical ability". This is required to purchase the "Edgerunner Artisan" perk, which allows you to create legendary items. Also, don't sell your legendary equipment for money. It's better to dismantle it to get legendary crafting materials until you have this trophy.
The Quick and the Dead - Kill or stun 50 enemies in slow motion. Requires the Cyberware Nervous System Implant with "Time Slow" effect (purchased from Ripperdocs) and you should also buy the Multitasking perk in the Body>Athletics skill tree.
Christmas Tree Attack / It's all scripted — Perform a protocol hack by sending no less than 3 scripts. You need to invest a few skill points in the Intelligence > Breach Protocol perks to get 3 demons to use in a single rift breach (save enough skill points for this).
Just remember to spend your money and attribute/skill points on the above trophies first. Also keep in mind that enemies tied to certain side quests will leave once the quest is completed. So the more actions you perform, the fewer enemies will remain in the world. However, for anything not listed above, you can easily farm kills against the police (they count as enemies too and respawn endlessly in the open world).
For your first ending, it doesn't matter what you do. After the story, it will bring you back before the last mission and you can replay it for other endings.
Step 2: All 4 Story Ending Trophies
When finished, press to take you back to the point of no return (this puts you in front of the last mission). You can then replay the last mission again to move on to another ending. There are 4 silver trophies tied to different endings: Devil, Star, The sun, Moderation.
The ending you get depends entirely on one set of dialogues in the Nocturne Op55N1 mission. Misty (the girl from Ripperdock) will take you to the balcony. Here you will talk to Johnny Silverhand and this is the only choice that decides the ending. The choice of your story leading up to this point is completely irrelevant.
The Devil / Devil (secret) - Help Goro Takemura avenge the death of Saburo Arasaki.
The Star / Star (secret) — Leave Night City with Aldecaldo.
Temperance / Temperance (secret) - Yield the body to Johnny Silverhand.
The Sun / Sun (secret) — Become a legend of the Afterlife.
After completing the story, you can quickly pick up collectibles that you haven't received yet. At this stage, you should choose:
Frequent Flyer / Migratory bird - Find all fast travel terminals. (they appear as purple markers on the map when within a few meters of them). Having all the currently available fast travel points will help you save time when completing additional tasks.
I Am The Law — Complete all missions in the Attack of Cyberpsychosis series. Find all 17 cyberpsychological observations. They are a subtype of concerts and are behind some yellow question marks on the map.
If you still have various battle trophies left (or any of the trophies mentioned in step 1), start working on them now. You can combine them with the side actions in step 5. For example, if you have 100 melee kills left, you'll only want to make melee kills for a while. So just go through your trophy list and plan those different trophies in step 5.
