Dead or Alive 6 Management

From the main menu, you have access to the story mode, DOA quest, standard combat, training, online mode and central DOA, as well as options. You can take part in a lesson that will help you learn the basic rock, paper, scissors style of play, or you can just dive in and learn as you go. The controls are fairly simple: the Triangle button on the Dualshock (or "Y" on an Xbox controller) performs hits, while the "Circle" button on the Dualshock (or "B" on an Xbox controller) performs hits. You can change punches or kicks by combining them with the left or right directional pad or the down button on the directional pad. Different directions and punch/punch combinations perform different moves.

You can also perform throws by pressing "X" on the DualShock (or "A" on the Xbox controller) as you approach an opponent. Alternatively, you can press square and triangle on the DualShock, or "X" and "Y" together on the Xbox controller to perform a "grab/throw" maneuver. dash and then holding down the directional button to maintain your speed. Once you're ready, you can start the story mode, which begins with a cinematic sequence showing Raida in the lab and a new character tracking down Honoka Niko in a tournament fight.

Prologue

In the first mission, Helena meets with newcomer Maria Rose, entrusting her with the task. The fight is essentially an introductory mission, as you will be playing as Marie Rose and fighting against Helena. After unlocking the first story sequence, several more cinematic and missionary missions will unlock. As you unlock new cinematics, you will also unlock branching chapters.

Second prologue The mission has Rig picking up Bass in the garage. Since it's a prologue mission, Bass isn't that hard to fight. Just focus on maintaining your range with the Rig to finish the bass fast.

As you unlock more missions, you will be able to play as Lisa, who Helena tries to recruit, but she refuses to work for Donovan because she hates him. Since this is a prologue mission, Lisa can defeat Helena very easily. The next mission shows NiCO countering with a Prototype Raidou. Since this is a prologue, Raid is not difficult to defeat at all. You can quickly deal with him with some basic combos. There is also a brief cinematic presentation of the new character Rig.

Part 1

There are not many events in the first chapter. Christy, however, will take on NiCO for more information on the restoration project. The fight is short and fast and you will be playing as Christy. Straight combos should quickly lay down NiCO. Brad Wong and Eliot are introduced in the next section of the chapter. You will be playing as Brad Wong, who has some pretty cool moves in his repertoire and some amazing tricks that you can use. Since this happens in previous chapters, you can deal with Eliot fairly quickly. For the first time in Story Mode, you will have access to Leifang, who will have to compete with Nyotengu. In combat, you can take out Nyotenga with a few solid combos. Zack then shows up at the gym, where he takes on Tina in a sparring match. Literally, if you just do a couple of big combos, Tina will be on the ropes. Zack will then try to talk Diego into joining the Dead or Alive tournament. You will play as Diego for the first time in story mode. Zack won't fight much and you can just mourn him with a few basic combos to end the fight.

Part 2

In the next big fight, Hayate goes to the garage lot to ask Rig about M.I.S.T. You will play as Hayata against Rig. He will be stronger than Helena, but if you do a combo, you can take him down pretty quickly. The next fight is Marie Rose vs. Honoka while they dodge the pterodactyls. Pretty simple - Honoka will use a few basic combos and try to counter your neutrals. Focus on light attacks and grab to deal with her quickly. After the announcement of a new team called The Muscle, Tina challenges DOATEC's Helena to a fight. This is a pretty quick fight where you can do a very short job of Helena using Tina. Just try to work in close combat. Kokoro is then introduced, who is challenged by Nico in a rather one-sided fight. Defeat NiCO with a basic neutral combo to end the fight early. Honoka and Marie Rose will continue their adventure around the city. Honoka will be a nosy, annoying THOT, prone to Eliot's business, which leads to them throwing fisticuffs. Elliot barely fights, and simply using a combination of punches and blocks will get you the win.

The same tactic seems to apply to Mila hitting Tina in the gym, where the latter will try to rehabilitate her fighting in the ring. It won't offer much resistance if you just use a lot of consistent, basic combinations. In the next segment, Eliot and Brad Wong are searching for some mysterious liquor inside an abandoned pirate ship. Eliot will try to get Brad to leave the burning ship, which will require a fight. Brad is not disingenuous and will try to beat Elliot out of the shit. Use XNUMXD to get around Brad to avoid his neutral combos and then counter from the side or from behind, otherwise you most likely won't be able to go head to head with him and expect to win by standing there and exchanging blows.

Leifan is on a treasure hunt with Hitomi. They will find the treasure, and then they will fight over who will get it. You will play as Leifang during the fight. Lisa will have a MIST reunion fighting against NiCO, who seems to have the highest loss record in Dead or Alive 6 Story Mode. You can start with some basic combos and then try to use the counter system to knock out any random attacks from NiCO to finish it off. The penultimate entry in Chapter XNUMX shows Ryu chopping bamboo trees in the forest when Nyotengu meets him and fights a sexy maiden. 

Diego, after defeating Zack, heads to the gym and engages in a sparring match with Mila. She will fight using a mix of low and high concentration attacks. A good counterpoint to this is to rely on grappling or shifting away from the attack.

Part 3

During the first part of the third chapter, you will play as Kasumi for the first time. This is a mirror match against another Kasumi. This fight can be a little tricky because the apprentice will actually try to win the fight, so be careful to keep your distance and don't be afraid to use combos when you see Kasumi's clone move into position.

 Tina takes over Honoka. It's really an easy fight considering Honoka is pretty weak. The best solution to deal with her is to just keep doing grabs until she dies. She's mentally handicapped anyway, so don't worry about her making any counterarguments. The next fight is Ayane vs. Honoka, but again, she's a mentally handicapped player and you can take her down pretty quickly with a few simple combos and a grapple.

Part 4

The Dead or Alive tournament begins in the fourth chapter when Helena announces it. The first segment of the fourth chapter is just a short cinematic. After Christy launches Rig in another pointless short cutscene, you will have to play as Hayate and take Prototype Raida. The prototype hits hard and only takes a few hits to die. So use intervals and deadlines to your advantage.
