If you're scouring the moon in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep for Lullaby Rock, you'll want to use this guide.
Once you're on the Moon in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, you'll need to complete the story campaign to gain access to the Lectern of Sorcery crafting station. There you can turn the Essence of Cruelty item into the new Rock Lullaby revolver - provided that you find another item, Threads of Necromancy.
If you check your quest log for information on "Essences of Cruelty", you will receive a hint on where you need to go to get Thread of Necromancy - she is in Hall of Wisdom, which is located somewhere on the moon. Unfortunately, this place is not marked on your map, and you will only know that you have reached it when the name of the area appears on the screen. This one isn't too hard to find, however, if you know where to start. Use these step by step instructions to get where you need to go:
Where to Find Necromancy Thread
- ➤Find Eris Morn in the Shrine Landing Zone
- ➤Move to the location Archer's Line and exit through the northeast exit (not to be confused with the passage that leads you to the Hellmouth). The landmark is a building with a dome
- ➤When you reach the dome, go through it to the other side. Ahead you will see a Hive building that you can enter.
- Go through the green painted doorway, jump down and follow the corridor to enter the Hall of Wisdom.
- ➤Once you enter the Hall of Wisdom, look to the right for a red-tinted area with a pointed object hanging above it.
- ➤Go there, and against the wall on the other side is the item you need.
- ➤Activate the hint on the screen.
Essence of Cruelty quest steps
➤Pass tests (lost sectors, patrols, public events on the moon)
➤Perform 50 kills with a revolver
➤Find Necromancy Threads, Completely Purify Essence of Cruelty and take it to the Lecturnus of Sorcery near Eris Morn to unlock the Lullaby Doom weapon.
