Destiny 2: Eververse Changes and New Rewards

Bungie has outlined their upcoming changes to Tess Everis in Destiny 2 to make the game friendlier.

When Destiny 2 first launched, it was a hotbed of controversy and backlash. There have been several major changes since then, including a complete release from Activision, the previous publisher. Since Bungie has been sailing alone, the quality of the game has increased tenfold, and the Guardian community has become active again. But just because there's been a change doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement yet, as seen in Eververse's recent revelation about studio changes.

In this week's dev update, Bungie's Luke Smith took a deep dive into the Eververse theme, but talked about upcoming changes for Season 12. In his update, Smith mentioned that they have done away with selling Ghost ships, sparrows, decorations, and cosmetics in the in-game store that are inspired by "Inspirational Activity". So what exactly are Aspirational Actions? Here's what you need to know:

  • ♦Dungeons
  • ♦Raids
  • ♦Tests

Guardians know that there have been many changes to the game since the launch of Bright Dust. Currently, Bright Dust can be used to purchase certain items in the store, such as exotic skins, shaders, and sparrows, and the Bungie team is now making it easy to get this particular type of currency. Even better? Not only will Bright Dust be easier to earn, but it will also be in larger quantities, giving players a chance to earn that particular currency no matter how much time they spend on Destiny 2.

Between the Eververse changes and the confirmation that Bungie is working on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 compatibility, it's clear that Destiny 2's journey is far from over and we can't wait to see where Bungie goes now that they've got full control over again. with their property.

What do you think of the Destiny 2 Eververse changes outline? What other improvements would you like to see in the next team?
