They return to the devastated moons. Their eyes move from side to side. It's only begining. Face this storm and fight until the sounds of rage are replaced by silence.

“Tell us about the Stormflock!” Kellikin shouted.

She wanted to shush him, but restrained herself because she was grateful to him: he warned her when he saw a purple haze rising over the hills, and thanks to this, she managed to take the children to the bunker. He was the eldest, and he had already seen several galvanic squalls.

- Okay. Sit around. Closer so I don't crack my voice.

Once upon a time, raiders attacked every winter. They took almost all of our food, dooming many to starvation. But then spring came and with it - it's time for new plantings, and then summer came. In autumn, as now, we harvested. Each time we made more supplies and hid them more carefully, fearing that the raiders would come again.

Our fears were not in vain. Seeing that we survived the winter, they attacked us with redoubled fury - and found most of the hidden. This went on for many years. They robbed us without giving anything in return.

But one autumn night we heard a deafening rumble. At first, some thought it was thunder, but then we realized that this was how engines rumble in the valleys. The raiders came early!

Maybe they changed their leader. Maybe they've lost their patience. We won't know anymore.

Because when the raiders broke into the village, one of them was struck by blue and white lightning - BOOM! Lights flickered in our eyes, and before they dissipated, a stranger armed with a hook in a mask and robes laid down a good two dozen. With this hook, she pulled lightning from the clouds and threw them into the camp of enemies, causing thunder to roll.

They say there was something inhuman in her: those who saw it with their own eyes said that she moved so rapidly that the eye could not keep up with her, and climbed so high that no one could jump. But in the end, the raiders took her into the ring, and she fell under their onslaught.

However, there was something else unusual about her: her thunder crow. He kept close to her shoulder, and when she fell, he looked over her body, and under his gaze she rose to her feet again.

This time, she aimed her hook at the sky, and the clouds closed at her will. The villagers rushed away from the lightning that hit the ground. It was useless to seek salvation in the houses. Only cellars like this bunker could provide cover.

People hid until the storm died down. The raiders fled - and those who did not escape were killed. They did not return again until three winters had passed. And now they are only to be feared outside the village.

So when you see a purple mist over the hills and hear thunder, it's a sign to hurry for cover. And when deafening rumbles are heard over the village, it may be that the Thunderherd has returned - to make sure that no one threatens us.

There was another rumble outside, but almost none of the children were frightened. They raised their eyes to the ceiling, and awe was read in their eyes.
